Sir #IsaacNewton was a scientist who discovered gravity and presented three laws of motion. He also discovered the colors of light and worked on optics. Newton was also a mathematician. He also worked on Calculus. He wanted to make Philosopher’s Stone but couldn’t.
Newton was born in Woolsthorpe Manor near Grantham, Lincoln Shire, England. He studied in King’s School Grantham. He also studied at the Trinity College of the University of Cambridge. He became president of the Royal Society of London, he was master of the Royal Mint and he was also a Lucasian Professor at Cambridge University. He served twice in the British parliament. He was knighted by Queen Anne of England. Newton is buried in Westminster Abbey in London.
