It’s incredible to me how well this pickup can keep up with a humbucker despite it being a single coil. I kinda wonder if it might have anything to do with it having two small rails instead of six pole pieces, but I’m not questioning it that much, as I’m a massive fan of rail-style pickups myself.
Can confirm this is what this pickup actually sounds like. Unlike loads of other YT vids where its so processed you could be hearing anything. It's rich, compressed and still has the single coil bite.
Do you know what kind of rig you can use to take the best out of it for a nice heavy tone? I've heard that instead of adding tons of gain, you should compress the tone.
The Bare Knuckle Sinner is THE best pickup made. My main tone for years. Clarity tuned down to A & more brutal than most humbuckers. Have one installed in a Ebony board Strat... I think the Sinner is better than the blade pickup but personal choice
Because they're single coil they're noisier, but it was nothing a noise gate didn't remedy. For the neck, I'm not sure, do you want something higher output on the neck as well, if so, maybe pile driver neck pickup.
@@MetalHeadProductions and how do you like the Player Telecaster? I'm also thinking about buying this exact model? Is it one-piece body? Or can you see the the split on the body? How is the neck in terms of fret height, etc?
Actually using your video, among others to try and narrow my search for my future Nashville Tele bridge pickup. So far it's down to the Cobra T, Super Distortion T and the Boot Camp Brute Force T. (My middle is going to be a DuckBucker)
I like the video but not the tone, honestly. I like the Rob Zombie tone but, but for Page, Gibbons stuff or metal... I don't know. Maybe with other amps or pedals... who knows... but again, nice video.
I guarantee you Joe has recorded at least some Gojira stuff on a standard tele, he loves them!

You're not wrong. That Tele has some devastating, yet rich sounds.
Great video as always 👍 stay metal 🤘
Well, this may have convinced me to grab me up one of these venomous snakes

All the Bare Knuckle blade pickups - Black Hawk (ceramic and alnico), Impulse, Cobra, and Cobra-T - are totally badass, their best pickups IMHO
What do you recommend for the neck pickup to go along with this one?
Another question is, with such a high output, the hum noise isn't too excessive?

@@DevanArya it places decent, neck is a little chunky. I believe it is a single piece body.
