    Sidisi is such an amazing and unassuming commander! I've recently picked up an Overgrown Estate at my lgs and I was wondering how you might build around it.

      Thanks! One of the reasons why I like Sidisi is because she's so unassuming.
      Overgrown Estate is such a great card. Apocalypse was really experimental with enemy combinations and wedges. Those were the days... What you can do is put it in a Karador deck and include Titania and The Gitrog Monster. Gaining life is great because becoming the archenemy is common in reanimator decks. So you gain life while triggering Titania and The Gitrog Monster. You could also include World Shaper, Turntimber Sower, etc.

      @@TheCommanderTavern I do like the Karador plan especially with those recommended cards. What do you think about having a life gain sub theme and playing Sanguine Bond too?

    • @TheCommanderTavern
      @TheCommanderTavern  4 года назад +1

      @@crovax1375 That would be brutal also, since your lifegain is their life loss. Karador also means you can dredge things and self-mill things away to then have your graveyard be like a second hand. Eternal Witness and the like would help with recovering Overgrown Estate and Sanguine Bond.

    What would you think of adding a Ghoulcaller Gisa into the deck? All that untapping shenanigans could be insane, unless I'm misunderstanding something. You would just keep sacking a zombie to generate more zombies, exploring if you have Path to Discovery out to generate more zombies, then untap Ghoulcaller Gisa and repeat until you were out of Path Triggers, Untap abilities or Mana. If you had Seedborn Muse out or intruder alarm the fun would just continue.

      Ghoulcaller Gisa could definitely go infinite with Phyrexian Altar and Intruder Alarm. You sacrifice a zombie token to create two more zombie tokens. They trigger Intruder Alarm untapping Gisa. Then you sacrifice one of the zombies for black mana to activate Gisa sacrificing the other one. If you want to generate infinite zombies, any zombie lord that pumps your zombies would be enough.

      @@TheCommanderTavern That's what I thought. It would also work with something like Aphetto's Alchemist and Intruder Alarm to just keep untapping a tapped swamp for mana, and then Aphetto's would untap when Gisa's zombies enter and trigger Intruder Alarm (thus also untapping Gisa), without needing Phyrexian Altar. I removed mortuary to put her in, but that's just my personal taste. Your deck tech is absolutely nuts, while still being incredibly fun. I just got into magic 2 months ago and Sidisi was the first commander I ever played. I absolutely fell in love with her, but my noob brain had no idea how to build her. Thank you for sharing this deck, its easily the best one I've found out there.

      @@masonholt4618 Thanks! Glad you're having fun - welcome to the format!
      Glad you liked my video and found it helpful. One thing I will point out is that Aphetto Alchemist can't untap lands; you'd need Kiora's Follower or Voyaging Satyr for that.

    I was waiting for this! thx!!! Is there a reason for using voidslime instead of disallow?

    • @TheCommanderTavern
      @TheCommanderTavern  4 года назад +1

      No problem! I know it took a while but it's finally up :)
      Disallow would be better than Voidslime because it's easier to cast. I hadn't updated that. But it's definitely a better option.

      @@TheCommanderTavern I'm still using voidslime though, but just for the flavor and the art, it's much more "Sultai" than disallow haha
