I just graduated from SMU in 2021. If you have any questions let me know! The most amazing school in the world. Future student secret (request a room in Mary Hay, Peyton, or Shuttles, MHPS commons) they have suite style bathrooms so every 2 rooms share a common bathroom with its own shower. Much more privacy and you're really central on campus!

@@gordonlin6120 It's probably the same price or maybe even cheaper honestly. It's an older dorm so it's a bit smaller but that lets you get to know the other people living there a lot better. Hope everything goes well for you! if you have any questions about campus life or in-depth student perspective let me know! I also know a lot of fun classes to take and what professors are better lol

What about SMU Cox aspirant is it the same on terms of location, dorm and other features of SMU

​@@FavouredChild1. Cox is a fantastic school! I had many friends attend Cox and are now doing great things. MHPS is definitely a great dorm for Cox (right across the boulevard). I'd say the walk from MHPS to Cox is probably only 4-5 minutes. The closest dorm to Cox is probably Boaz (literally next door), but its also the oldest dorm on campus and needs a renovation (community bathrooms and smaller rooms in general). If you lived in MHPS it would be a couple minute walk to the dining hall in the morning and then from there just a quick stroll over to Cox. If you have any other questions let me know!

My sister applied to SMU would you recommend it she got into 8/13 colleges she applied to she got waitlisted at UCSB and rejected by Notre Dame Washington U in St. Louis UCLA and USC but she’s choosing between SMU, Cal Lutheran, Cal Poly, Santa Clara, Pepperdine, SDSU, UC Irvine, and UMich
