The second point is that the defenders ain't marking the attackers tight enough, especially the wingers.. You see every attacker has to me marked so they don't have any spare player to pass the ball to except send it back to their defence.
But what do our defence do, give the opposing team too much space. Hudson-Odoi had tons of space. But Chelsea ignored the warnings before he scored.

    1) Network hosts said today that ManU is reportedly interested in Poch to replace Ten Hag.
    2) would love it if you did pre-match shows where you talk about the lineup and strategy you want to see in the match (a day early, two days early, whatever). Any reason you don’t do those aside from time and effort?

I don’t believe the links of Pochettino to Man Utd.
I cover the press conference and just talk about the news.
The reason I don’t taalk strategy is due to Pochettino’s consistent changes due to injuries. We don’t know who will play

    • @ZacharyShahan
      @ZacharyShahan Месяц назад

@@KavkasViewI get that. And part of me is annoyed when people talk about who they’d play, but 1) I like your commentary on this kind of thing the most, so I’m very curious how you would approach games and it would be fun to see how that compares to what is done, and 2) just eager for more Chelsea content but find a lot of the Chelsea RUclipsrs are not my cup of tea - but watch anyway to get a little more entertainment between matches.

  • @nicolaszan1845

I would keep Pochettino, and that's for three reasons.
    1. We have seen improvement throughout the season; even with low points, inexperience and inconsistency, there is a slight trend upwards in confidence and results. Even if in the future we only maintain this kind of level to reach 7th, it would be an important improvement over the previous management, and help the young players we have develop and grow, specially physically.
    2. Our options are not great. Xavi was the only manager I wanted, and the other options have either already rejected us (Alonso, Amorim) or are downgrades on Poch (De Zerbi, Frank, etc.)
    3. Giving Pochettino another season shows what he can do without an injury crisis and stops us from having to pay him to get rid of him. Given our FFP troubles, this would be most excellent, and might even save us from needing to sell someone like Gallagher who has been a silent workhorse in the team.
    4. The players still seem to back him. And specially with this young squad, their motivation and confidence in their manager seems to play a very important role.
I would not be surprised if he got sacked, and it's not like I would cry over it or anything. I understand why he might get sacked. But personally, I'd give him another season. Consistency has its upsides, and none of the potential replacements really make me go "this is our guy!"

I think Pochettino has done well actually. Frankly at a point in time I just wanted us to make 50 points and now he might reach 60 points; about 20 points more than last season. However I think that sacking him makes more sense than not because even though the team is young I still feel we can be way better. There are bad things to address. The defence shouldn't be running back when counter attacked. Bad mistake. The defence should rather go on to take the ball from them in succession one if he misses the second takes the ball while the first defender blocks him. Or run back to be the third defender to go for the ball in case the earlier two defenders are well dribbled.

Poch dropped out standards without us even knowing Lol but I knew since pre season.
if poch hasn’t changed our standards then why are we doing bad against bad clubs and good against good clubs.
Jackson can’t finish and is not build like a striker, don’t have enough strength to protect ball with body, Jackson is more like a sub if our main striker is injured. I don’t think Jackson is ok but there is better out there and he needs competition. Plus I dont even believe him to beat a defender than beat the keeper to make a goal.
I don’t even know if poch teaches this team what to do on and off the ball
And if we run a 3 back defense it has to be Tiago Silva in middle Trevor cholabah on the right and badiashile on left even though disasi is better

@@KavkasView Alex, getting rid of Poch at this time is simply naive thinking given the overall situation of this squad with injuries and young players. The problems is mostly because we have had only one healthy traditional quality midfielder (Caicedo) for most of the season. Gallagher has done well but he's not a CM. Enzo played injured for 6 months. Lavia gone for the season. Same with Ugochukwu. Chukwuemeka gone for almost all year. That's 4 CMs injured. Where are your quality midfielders to control the game and shield our defenders from attacks? How many clean sheets with JT oversee without Maka, Essien & Mikel in front of him? Not many.

Jose never had the sheer volume of injured players in his collective 6 years at Chelsea let alone one season. Jose never had to rely on inexperienced kids as the backbone of his team at Chelsea. Jose tactics are inherently counter attacking, defensive and less possession oriented as opposed to Poch who is more attack oriented. These owners want an attack oriented team which is why they invest heaving in those types of players. Please let these few considerations sink in.

Pochetino is building a team of headless horsemen. A lot of running, fighting, injuries and little thought. The bright side of the team Palmer has been improving lately Caicedo. Moving the crow to the center where he interferes is simply ridiculous. What aggravation from him.? The same back pass basically and at the same time, loss of one’s position. A cluster of players on one site, where they often simply interfere with each other without moving, without distracting movements. Hoping for an opponent’s mistake. With higher-quality teams, such tactics will not work. Cucurella runs from the center to the flank. There is a threat on the left and they will take advantage of this. In how many matches, after pressure in the first half, did players run out of steam in the second? It’s impossible to play with such pressure all the time. The coach’s desire is to bring something new to football, but this is not given to everyone. And it would probably be better to first practice some innovation on the backyard team; he learns jewelry making not on expensive stones.

Winning Nottingham forest shouldn't be a big deal. Winning spurs with their form isn't a big deal. Beating West Ham with their form isn't a big deal. We haven't improved we play arsenal with this form we loose the matches cause they are been coached at another level. Poch just does the same thing every game. Inverting cucrella isn't the solution to our game play.. how many forward passes does he give in forward areas he hardly contributed anything going forward. Caicedo just keeps passing backwards and side to side. That's really frustrating and meanwhile the same caicedo for Brighton will receive turn and move forward with the ball.
