- This is PART 2 of a trip that started in Penal, through Siparia and on to Buenos Ayres: • PENAL to BUENOS AYRES ... In this video, we go back the way we came save for a diversion via the Siparia Old Rd going to Fyzabad. Later on, we make our way back north through La Romain, Gulf City and San Fernando. As usual I will give some of my thoughts and opinions as we ride together.
Here is a simple drive through key:

@@RayaEagleWings are you Subscribed now? I think you said you had two accounts?
@@JBsManCave hey I did, not anymore ~ you tube I don’t think liked it, it was a back up , just in case. I’m using just this. Thanks JB~ I hope you and your family are good & all is well 🇹🇹🙏
Thanks for the ride
I'm from the states and really enjoy watching your videos. A dear friend of mine came from San Fernando in the '80s. He spoke fondly of his life growing up in Trinidad and he was very proud to be a Trini. He recently passed away and I miss him very much. So I come here, enjoying listening to you speak Trini and you help me to remember the unique phrases that my friend used. So your videos bring me a bit of comfort in my grief. So thank you for blessing me in this way.
Wow, that was very touching, thank you kindly. There is a lot more if you will like to see: jbsmancave.com/trinidad-and-tobago-road-trip-map/
Thanks dear JB, going to watch now 😊Off until Tuesday ~ going to love catching up and relaxing ~ wishing you & your family the very best ☀️🇹🇹🌺💕
Eagle, thank you kindly . Same to you and yours?
@@JBsManCavethank you! Been very busy , have a new puppy 🐶 Truly busy ..good to be back ! Hope alls well
Great great job! JB, saw my childhood home as you past thru Siparia Old Road just before the left turn to Fyzabad👍❤
Glad you were able to get a taste of your past. Thanks for watching Buenos Ayres to Fyzabad to San Fernando in trinidad.
Saw my old house in Los Bajos which is after the light green house. Sigh! So much memories. 😢
David, what do you think about Los Bajos today?
@@JBsManCave Things changed up a bit. My old neighbours have probably moved on . One of them passed away 3 years ago from meningitis. Another in 2009 died from cancer. But I would love to come back and visit my hometown Los Bajos. I live in California, USA and I'm starting to not like living in the US .
David, why do you say that? Things aren't so cherry in T&T.
@@JBsManCave Neither in the US, but I guess everywhere is like that too with all this craziness going on
JB you do great work ! Love your videos !
Thank you kindly. What do you love about my videos?
We are on the 2nd leg of the trip: It's so nice to see the creek again and the surrounding environs. it's by the sea, Dansteel etc❤
Glad you enjoyed it.
Thanks for taking the time to refreshen us and to take our minds and thoughts back to such nostalgic history. I am from Siparia, went to School in Fyzabad, can't say how long, over 50yrs. Blessings.
Oh so a lot of this footage is special for you. I also have a walk through of Siparia proper: ruclips.net/video/65w7IMrIakg/видео.html
"Dont break your neck to see it"😂 JB you are hilarious!!
That's how we Trinis talk. 😉
The area you are driving through from Siparia to Fyzabad is an old oil field it was first Apex, then British Petroleum, and the Tesero. But that whole area back to Palo Seco and Point Fortin, were all oilfields. Boom and bust I grew up there in Fyzabad during the boom days. I am now 79.
Good Job in bringing old memories to light.
Thanks for sharing more info about the area and thanks for watching Buenos Ayres to Fyzabad to San Fernando road trip.
Just starting the ride JB!
Cool, enjoy it.
Nice drive
Thank you kindly.
I DO AGREE WITH YOU JB'S, THAT "CARIBBEAN" is much more preferred and better understood world wide than "West Indies". I like that you speak very appropriate and clearly. Blessings on your endeavors.
Thanks for your input and feedback, it is much appreciated.
51:59 we used to wait at that wall to get rides home from school. Down the street from the Fyzabad Police Station was the entrance to the Fyzabad Anglican Secondary School. Then where you made that turn used to be a Hi-Lo supermarket. It's been over 20+ yrs but seeing all of those places brought back the memories. That road you took to go to Forest Reserve was all part of what we called "the oil fields" when Texaco ran oil operations. We grew up in Forest Reserve, where a lot of oil was extracted.
Thanks for sharing your experience of Fyzabad, Trinidad.
Anazing drive all your drives are so unusual places I havent been
Thanks for your words about my drive from Buenos Ayres to Fyzabad in Trinidad.
You are doing a Fantastic job.
Thank you so much 😀
I saw many lamp posts on the road you said that is good for hiking. But the lamps were high up. You videos are real good so I had a distant view of the roads as you drove along.
Thanks for country tour
The road along Bueno Aires has the street lamps
Thanks for your thoughts on this road trip. See more here: jbsmancave.com/trinidad-and-tobago-road-trip-map/
Buenos Ayres is definitely a place I do not expect a place like Trinidad to have since I tend to associate it with Argentina (yes, albeit different spelling) though it's nice to see how the whole trip is like. So many side roads too.
Thanks for your thoughts on this road trip.
What's going on in my life: JB it's been a challenging season for my family and I. We suffered two losses in our immediate family and that really affected us.
I remember you telling me in another video about those that passed one after the other... must have been quite shocking and somewhat frustrating because there is nothing you could do. My sympathies.
Saw my old house in Los Bajos which was after the light green painted house. Sigh! So much memories in that house
JB how can your fans help?
Anyway they can.
@@JBsManCave JB during the drive you mentioned that it was a challenging period in your life. I shared a little about my challenge with loss. Can you give some Insight into what your challenging period involves? Is it with the kids, family, health, financial??
@@michellebarclay7574 sorry to be cryptic, but as I mentioned in the video I cannot talk about the details -- in the future. Thanks for asking and being part of my Channel as it means so much.
Yes, I understand!
