It's such a shame Geoffrey Hutchins passed away before filming. I reckon if he was able to do the Christmas Special, I reckon it wouldn't have ended so sadly. I reckon if he was able to do the Christmas Special, my bet is, the story would have been all about Mel on a business trip in Marrakech and ending with him catching a Flight to Benidorm and making it in time for Christmas.
