I don't know what you're hearing but if you say she sounds like your dad she needs to you need to go to the hearing doctor cuz she does not have horrible
LOL I couldn't stop smiling during this entire song! I wish I could do this song as well but I get too embarrassed! so amazing to listen too. it's always nice to have people around who know how to have fun and aren't afraid to go all out.
A Dim Republic Just..probably the way the voice actor for Georgette sang, How she sang so ..Raspy like in some places. Then how she just made it sound alot like the original but a tiny bit better. x:
how how, i just discovered today and you have blown my mind this is insane how can you be this good at pretty much all the animated songs which can be pretty hard to sing. I hope you're getting recognized because there are too many talentless people in the media and other places and we could use a bit of actual real talent
As a kid, this was my absolute favorite movie. I can’t believe people still know this movie! AHH This made my day, and it’s nighttime when I’m writing this, aha! 😂
That was awesome! I love Georgette's voice and you, Elsie, have done a fabulous job! Come on ladies, let's follow her lead! :D Sing your hearts out like the whole world's listening!
Oh my gosh!! yes this is beautifully wonderfully done!! I listen to this song everyday at least once. Not even exaggerating. So of course I love the original but already your voice is growing on me! Job well done!
Marvelous job on a fantastic performance for this song. To me, it was not about some video that had to be displayed to the millions of fans watching at home but an opportunity to hear an amazingly talented singer perform a song from a film that children grew up with during their childhood. Indeed, having used to watch this film all the time as a kid, I can clearly say I'm not listening to Bette Middler... I'm listening to SweetPoffin. A gifted singer, great song, I look forward to more songs.
This was one of the songs I've always always thought were perfect for your voice, because you can showcase your acting abilities, and range and everything. Your other recording was already good, but this one is absolutely perfect!!
Only the 2nd of your videos I have watched/listened to, but you are amazing, I can easily imagine you in a 'big production'/theatre/Broadway-type setting covering this song and probably performing the action flawlessly as well as the singing. Your voice not only sounds superb, it projects the emotion and feeling that can fire the imagination.
Elsie, this is perfect! You sound so close to the original, it's freaky :o The things you can do with your voice... Just wow. This is my main channel btw ;) But no need to credit me.
OMG I love this, i hope you do why should I worry. I love to hear a female cover. Oliver and company is a really good film but hardly anyone knows about it.
Girl, we've got work to do. Pass me the paint and glue Perfect isn't easy . . . But . . . it's . . . me When one knows the world is watching, One does what one must Some minor adjustments, darling -- Not for my vanity, But for humanity. Each little step a pose See how the breeding shows (grunt) Sometimes it's too much for even me! When all of the world says yes, Then who am I to say no? Don't ask a mutt to strut like a showgirl, No, girl, you need a pro! Not a flea or a flaw Take a peek at that paw La dada dee dee da Perfection becomes me, n'est ce pas? Unrivaled! Unruffled! I'm beauty unleashed! (yeah) Jaws drop, hearts stop So classic and classy We're not talkin' Lassie! Laaaaa, aaaah,…
OMG UR SO GOOD -:O hehe you sound just like the real singer! Just very slightly different :D but I wouldnt know this wasn't the original song if you uploaded it as that :3
GAH!! I keep coming back to this cover. This may be my favorite cover of yours. I absolutley love it when you sing in this tone of voice. PLEASE MAKE IT TO BROADWAY ;w;
Darling this is awesome! beautiful song too! I was looking fot the instrumental version of this son a long time ago, do you still have it by any chance??
Loved your cover of this song, it was my favourite from Oliver and Company; however Bette Midler could be a little hard on the ears somedays, though it suited Georgette. Lovely
This is one of those songs that are really freaking fun to sing when your -drunk- at a party doing karaoke
I like how true she is to the origanal
She still makes hers though
Omg right? Hits right in the childhood. Elsies covers are some of the best.

LOL I couldn't stop smiling during this entire song! I wish I could do this song as well but I get too embarrassed! so amazing to listen too. it's always nice to have people around who know how to have fun and aren't afraid to go all out.
I'm astonished at how close you sound to the original singer. I absoulutly adore this song and movie, and its a shame its so underrated.
I love how she ends up falling for Tito in the end; hilarious.
Oooo hard to do that type of voice unless you just kinda got it! You can do a lot with your voice, it's great!
What kind of voice type is this exactly?
A Dim Republic Just..probably the way the voice actor for Georgette sang, How she sang so ..Raspy like in some places. Then how she just made it sound alot like the original but a tiny bit better. x:
Could you please do Big And Loud from Cats Don't Dance? You're terrific!
She just did
After a year, she finally has. Congrats
Will she also do the villainous version of the song?
how how, i just discovered today and you have blown my mind this is insane how can you be this good at pretty much all the animated songs which can be pretty hard to sing. I hope you're getting recognized because there are too many talentless people in the media and other places and we could use a bit of actual real talent

Some minor adjustments, darling --
Not for my vanity,
But for humanity.
Each little step a pose
See how the breeding shows (grunt)
Sometimes it's too much for even me!
When all of the world says yes,
Then who am I to say no?

No, girl, you need a pro!
Not a flea or a flaw
Take a peek at that paw
