My mom used to through her shoe if I was to far away. Plenty of time to duck for incoming. Those where great times. Wishing mom still here. She would be 100 last 10/2021.
One of the worst damn things to get beat with was that round cardboard thing on coat hanger ! I never forgot that sumbitch and want as long as I live son ..
Back in the day...68, I was nine and would drill out the rivetes on the bottom and ad lead under the hood and screw the bottom back on and win the drag races down a hill. Title for title!! I had a huge collection of hot wheels and didn't give them up to my little brother till I went into the navy at 17.
My Dad was at that show he was the guy you met outside who has the orange malibu like Aidens... I appreciate you taking time to talk to him for minute..that was cool of you..much respect.
Thanks for attending our show, I'm the president of the T-Town Wheelers (and owner of Carl's Car Shack) and we appreciate you taking some time out of your Saturday morning to check it out. We'll be debuting a brand new 5 lane track at our May14th show.
Hey Shawn that was badass brought back some good memories of hot wheels but the best part of all is making them memories with the family. As always keep up the awesome work guys 💪 💯
It’s cool to see Shawn just go have fun with his family. I’m sure he can’t go many places without being noticed, but he don’t let that stop him. Mad Respect.. #MoronNation is Strong in that one…lol. Be cool to see you put together a Hot Wheels drag race for kids. A lot of kids look up to Shawn.
Yep that's a great idea for the kids they will love that, plus can get some side bets goin 😂 nah I'm playing it would be soo cool tho definitely should do it 👍🏼
@@anthonygibbo1881 my boys used to compete with the little soap Box derby cars. Both my boys was always top 1-3 cars, Always. We got to a place they had to start a protest rule. You had to put up $25 bucks to protest our cars. We was never found outside the rules. Key word was FOUND….lol.. My sons was making side bets without my knowledge. I seriously had no idea they was doing this. We have two cars that’s never been beat. We was ask to retire them and never bring them back… and we never did..
That was pretty cool thank you for taking us along with the show I enjoyed it. And does you good every now and again to get out and just reminisce about the old days and one of the good ways to do it is Hot Wheels Etc
In the context of what Shawn was talking about, he’s partially correct. If you take two soap box derby cars that their total weight is the same amount, but one car has more weight on the rear tires, that car will be faster than the one that has the same amount of weight on the front and rear tires.
@@natec599 And where is this flat part on a slide that folks slide down? This supposed top end? The last foot? Aidens gonna turbo car em right there? O f*ck yoll i just realized their as*es aint got no wheels. Throw away all the test data fellers and someone hold the choke while i start the calculator.........
So cool to see you guys go to a diecast show. I'm a big hotwheels collector and most of all the collectors love you guys and the show man. Hotwheels collecting is actual pretty serious and cool man. It's not what most people think. There is some serious money in diecast collecting.
I used to buy my kiddo a new hot wheel every Friday when I'd get paid,I still have his collection. He picked out his 1st car when he was right around a year old and LOVED racing them down those orange tracks😄
There are some really nice hot wheels cars saw some nice looking vintage hot wheels as well. Thanks for the video. Not easy finding ones from the old days most probably are being hold on to or retired
Cool video I’ve got some hot wheels still, but sold a lot of mine just kept my favorites. I’m big into the models and bigger scale 1/18 diecast cars and my rc’s. Hot wheels are what started a lot of our car hobbies as a young age, our toys have just gotten bigger and more expensive.
I had a Matchbox city, my parents bought it for me on Christmas. I'd go to the .5 & .10 store right in town by my school, and buy my Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars there. I had a bunch too, boxes, I'd use every penny I found or saved to get them.
I used to do these shows all the time. The custom contests are where its at. I've done shows in Nashville, Atlanta and Vegas. Won a custom contest in Nashville. It's great fun. By they way I have over 18,000 cars 🤣🤣 You think racing gets expensive..
Pretty cool Shawn. I wish you were with Ryan and Jeff this weekend in Cleveland. I'm heading out to see them as soon as I catch up on my RUclips videos here today. You should meet up with them and test in Norwalk summit Motorsports Park before heading to Florida. Good luck this season in NPK I'm looking forward to meeting you and your crew at both Ohio shows.
Now hang on Shawn, its weight vs friction, there is a fine line there with to much weight sliding down the slide to win a race lol. Love your video's, you and the murder nova started up the race world again. Got me back in the seat in my mid 60s,, race suit and a diaper now. When I drop on the green globe, I shit now
I use to work at a matel so there was hot wheels area n was best place to work if you collect xD get all the awesome jdm collab cars n tons of cool stuff
Somebody should talk to Hot Wheels about some Street Outlaws sets. There could be a set of OG cars and then sub sets of each driver's cars through the years. There also could be multiple Farmtruck and Azn sets.
they filmed alot of dukes of Hazzard by me in Livingston parish Louisiana u can go tour the old farm an see several of the original cars an see a few old jumps they did. pretty neat to do next time yall are around new Orleans area.
I’ve got a couple cases of my old cars from 25 years ago… many are way older ( mostly all from garage sales so was old back then haha ) have to get connected with someone who knows this stuff … all the original Pokémon too..
from what i can remember, as a huge dukes fan bitd, they had a load of general lee's that were all set up for the stunt &, racing scene's and 1 which was the close up car, they are technically all "real" but not the one everyone assumes they are, then there was the movie cars
was actually just look for original hot wheels tracks for my niece she has a thing for hot wheels at 3 years old told my sister to have her watch the video she will love it
Me and a couple buddy's who's drag raced in our 20s use to race hot wheels.Loser lost his hot wheel.Miss those simple drinking nights from the mid 90s..
I live in Luray Virginia where cooters garage is man you need to come see it they have the ennis cop car and the general lee and gift shop also have Luray caverns right up the road be awesome to see you in our little town man
Heard he like the C10 trucks. Been thru a ton of those and here in the desert they don’t rot as bad. If there is a vehicle u are looking for hit me up anytime. Wish u guys were closer. I am beginning an emotional journey with a 49 Packard I want to put a Chevrolet big block in🤞🇺🇸
Hallo MorderNova, ich bin ein Fan von Euch aus Deutschland , warum wird momentan in Deutschland eure Rennen nicht ausgestrahlt.? Macht ihr kein Rennen ??
I used to race mine down a piece of wood when I was a kid and still have them all. I preferred building model cars and did til I could build real cars.
Was thinking we were getting a Tulsa track day update, especially when Shawn mentioned Tulsa! I know it’s coming, hopefully the test sessions were successful and y’all are about ready (“ready”) for the start of NPK. In über local news, did that story that released earlier mean a certain driver won’t make the start of NPK? 😬
Still nothing about Chief eh? Cant believe NO ONE but Reaper is talking about it. Fans wanna know!! Me and the wife are debating selling our VIP++ NPK tickets in Baytown this year. Might as well burn all the memorabilia while were at it. Sad to see no one backing the one who got it all off the ground!
I race Rc cars and have for 20 years.. I ran into a guy about 10 years ago was selling a $30k collection of hot wheels containing over 10,000 items.....he said some are worth a few cents some are worth hundreds of dollars but he claimed if you sold them all you could make $40k-$50k in value..
@ murder NOVA... I have an idea that you may or may not entertain but Bill from "THE OLD MANS GARAGE" SRC BILLY's DAD was asking who would be a good fun time to interview... I thought wow this would be a great time to mingle maybe do 2 interviews one at bills and bill at 187 customs do a 2 part where the first part is done at bills and the second part is maybe at a npk event that bill could come and do a interview?? just an Idea that may spike BOTH your sites ! and the fans would love it both worlds!! Just happy to see a Charger that looks like the General Lee. In the top 3 of my favorite cars.
That was pretty cool thank you for taking us along with the show I enjoyed it. And does you good every now and again to get out and just reminisce about the old days and one of the good ways to do it is Hot Wheels Etc
I heard the convention was done on a pretty small scale though. ( 1/64 ). " They should've done it on a much bigger ( 1/8 ) scale " LOL
Yoll is funny. "Son you know heavier things fall faster". Lol. Well i guess spendin time is worth more than facts lol. Keep up the good work
A heavier car stores more potential energy at the top of the track. That means that it will maintain speed longer in the flat part of the track.

Still got my 24 car Hot Wheels case full of about 30 cars from when I was a kid. When my boys were little, sometimes we got out MY cars and played.
I think they should make all the 405 cars! How cool would that be? Then maybe some other teams

I dig these videos. Idk maybe it's a dad thing but new experiences even something as small as this will be in a kids memory for ever.
Golfer Bubba Watson (in Georgia)has a genuine General Lee. Travis Bell (near Indianapolis) has a genuine “jumped” General Lee
