Quentin forgot to pump an insect with his pendelhaven on his last attack, since he left Robert with 1 life he would have won the match. I guess they were playing really fast and he didn't see it
@@jacesweeney1747 i think he did not pump, opponent was at 10 and he attacked with 2 1/1 insects, 2 1/2 halflings and a 2/2 wolf bringing him to 4. If he pumped the insect they would have been 7 damage and pandelhaven has not been tapped during that combact
Halfing also taps for colorless and he never specified what colored mana he was producing so it would be first mana ability he is using not the uncounterable second ability mana source he needed to specify
Doesn’t really matter. It’s like using cavern of souls in a tribal deck I don’t have to say what color. When I tap it we both assume I’m using a color to make my creature uncounterable.
Official ruling on cavern of souls is it's **un**counterable unless you state otherwise, I don't see why halfling would be different Edit: had said exact opposite of what was meant
I snapped of a spell pierce so confidently one time that my opponent with 6 untapped mana allowed me to counter his spell. I don’t think either player was paying attention but he let it happen so oh well.
Linvala been putting in work since 2010!!! Some strong wings!!!

No he did pump on the last attack that’s why he went to 1 he tapped ignoble to attack and it has zero power not sure why he attacked with it.

18:30, the azorious guy used FON in a thing that was uncounterable
obviously he tapped halfling for colorless! lol
18:20 ma boy the halfing was used for ASC 😂
Lol
4:24 Robert could have countered the reflexive trigger of Grist after Quentin would have saced the wolf, so tiny misplay.
MEAT!!!!!!!!!!!
How can we find the deck list?
Was my other comment removed?... I posted the link, but that might have been censored.
Look for 'Top Modern Azorius Flash decks' on MTGDecks
Where can i buy those dice?!? 😂

It's also good to ask, if they do not disclose. It may give away what is in your hand, but if you get them to say it was colorless.

@@Eon_TAS Correct. I would be surprised if any judge rules different.
@@MaeseEidos just realised I somehow misstyped, official ruling is uncounterable unless stated otherwise
How did he counter 18:28 Agatha’s soul cauldron when halfing mana was spent to cast it
With absolute confidence man! 😂😂

@@MovesMcgee1 This game was so sloppy, Quentin lost by not sacrificing ignoble hierarch to grist rather than an insect
Yeah, I had to stop watching there. It just pulled me off.
Couldn’t have Quentin theoretically just won if he’d sacrificed the ignoble hierarch instead of the dryad arbor?
Yeah. I'd understand if he needed the Black mana from Hierarch, but his mana was pretty much set.
