    just bought the shimbol memory pro, do you feel your recorded footage on your shimbol temperature more purple then the camera footage?

      Before any major shoot I always used to color match the camera monitor with the Shimbol monitor. You do have some color settings that you can use on the Shimbol menu to adjust the temperature and tint so that they match.
      There were some differences by default between my Blackmagic display and the Shimbol monitor but I always adjusted the tint, contrast and temperature and matched them so I didn't have an issue after.

    Does it cross convert the SDI/HDMI signal? For example I connect my camera with SDI in and output the signal to Hollyland transmitter with HDMI out.

      It does, I usually connect the monitor to the camera via HDMI and output the transmitter via SDI 👍

      @@CosminConstant thank you so much! Is there any additional latency because of that? I think that's the first monitor in that price-range that is bright and can do that. May pull a trigger on that one.

      @@CosminConstant considering the markers - is it possible to set 1:1 and 9:16 for vertical markers?

      @@CosminConstant one last question - I see you're based in Romania. Where did you buy it in Europe? Or you did buy it in US? It's pretty hard to find in Europe.

    hello! will i be able to display 4k 120fps when recording from my fx30 using this monitor?

    • @CosminConstant
      @CosminConstant  2 месяца назад +1

      @@bernardocuesta4217 I think you can view up to 4K DCI 25fps, not sure if 120 4k is doable, it will probably downscale to 1080.
      In the field I used it a lot with 6k 50fps and it handled the image well but the image I was viewing wasn’t 6k or 4k, I’m sure it downscaled 🎬

    What is the maximum bit rate this recorder has?

    • @CosminConstant
      @CosminConstant  9 месяцев назад

      If you're talking about the bit depth I believe this is a 8bit display but if you're talking about the record function, it records up to 1080p, H.264 files at up to 60fps so that's around 6000 Kbps ✌

    How’s the latency on this monitor

    • @CosminConstant
      @CosminConstant  10 месяцев назад +1

      i haven't had problems with it, I also use an Atomos Shinobi and I see no difference between the two of them when it comes to latency ✌
