- Chelsea in Bloom runs along the amazing Chelsea Flower Show each May. Shops in the Chelsea area transform their shop windows into creative floral displays and each year the theme is different. This year's theme was #underthesea. Sea creatures of all sizes created out of colourful blooms descended on Chelsea and captivated passers-by.
I tried to capture as many displays as possible. See for yourself the incredible level of creativity involved and thanks for watching!

@@ThePetalogist THANK YOU MY DEAREST FOR YOUR BEAUTIFUL COMMENT, HOPE TO SEE YOU AGAIN. BEST WISHES. ANN. XXX
I had no idea this show was so extensive with so many local shops participating. So much to see! I enjoyed the animal theme. The tortoise 🐢 was neat. I wonder what the huge brown pods were that made up his back. And the octopus 🐙 couple were cute. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for your comment! Happy to know you enjoyed watching the video. The show is big indeed and you can walk for hours to see all the floral displays. Some of the sea animals were so elaborate and cleverly made. I did a bit of research and it seems the big pods are from a sea heart tree also know as monkey-ladder. This tree produces the world's largest bean pods. What a great idea to use them for the tortoise back! ☺️
The largest bean pods in the world 🌍! I can well believe it. Really neat🐢.Thanks for discovering that for me. I’m always learning about new plants and animals. What fun! Have a great evening!
You're very welcome! I was curious myself. 😉 There are so many plants I still don't know out there so it's good to reduce the list. Have a lovely evening! 🌹
Yes, it is great to discover new 🌱 plants.
