No grounds in French press, meaning coffee has been brewed for 4 minutes and dumped into a clean French press, then for some reason pressed again. Then he states a measurable number that should be result of his test, doesn't take the initial temperature, and doesn't take the final temperature. Just says "mmm that is cold". Great unboxing 👍
Yeah, I would have liked to see a thermometer reading before and after. Although, I don't doubt this thing does what it says it does. Stainless steel is an excellent conductor of heat/cold.
What was the point of the clean french press? I searched this video on youtube for the sole reason of saying exactly what you said... seems I wasn't needed. Fair winds to you Jason
FYI: The Coffee Plant only grows Naturally in Ethiopia - where coffee originated. But it’s now imported and grown commercially around the globe. Coffee is as much an African Drink as Spaghetti is an Italian food.
Great idea, it should work. I've always just filled a stainless steel bowl with ice water and placed a smaller bowl inside, then poured in the coffee. I takes closer to 2 minutes using my method. The HyperChiller is a more elegant solution but I wish the capacity was a bit greater. I brew coffee in my Clever with 25 grams coffee and 400 grams (13.5256 ounces) water but the HyperChiller only goes up to 12.5 ounces.
A little truth in advertising is in order. Say that you sell these. Use a real timer and a real thermometer. You sound pretty fake, sorry. Love your catalog.
I don't understand the use of the french press in this video. You didn't use it to make the coffee because there are no grounds, the review of the product was great, proper amount of information, but those little details like using a press for no reason and faking that u made the coffee in it just bugs me. Im sure im not the only one and that sort of thing take away your credibility.
Like the review not the device from what I have learned here. Though a gadget head, this is too many steps for me. I'm a "black" coffee nerd not that into iced coffee. wonder what cleanup is like for those who put milk into it initially? Stainless steel many find it imparts a metallic taste in Joe. How long until it freezes up and you have coffee ice vs ice coffee? I use a somewhat similar device for ice cream that you freeze in the freezer and hand crank. there are motorized versions also, but far simpler. This device could def have some niches, and for iced coffee freaks could be way to go. I see some single serving icy cocktail potential, but would prob jam if slush.
You commented a year ago hating on this thing. Then come back 3 months after that to make this post? Why are you so angry at this thing? Did the Hyperchiller kill your parents in an alley after a show? Are you Batman?
@@BlackMountainCycles Yes unfortunately. Someone threw one out on the street and my friend and I were just taken a jog and he didn't see it . He stepped and slipped on it and hit his head really hard. We rushed him to the hospital but he died after a few days of a brain aneurysm. No I'm not Batman just G man
@@gman5986 .....you dont. you just pour some tap water and soap down to the chamber and rinse it out. why would you think you have to clean out the ice compartment every single time ?

Hyperchiller 持っているが、何年も使用していない上に取説も紛失、セットアップ法も忘れてしまった。ので、この動画ではとても役に立った。ありがとう!
I did it for 1 min and did not work i had to swirl it for 5 mins for it to get semi cold :(
Who in the world is going to clean all those parts every time you use it. Totally unrealistic design!

@@gman5986 Jesus, vendetta granted. I hope you get that SOB. Some appliances just like to watch the world drink hot beverages.
That's a totally useless invention. Nobody is going to go thru all that hassle on a regular basis. Completely ridiculous!
i use mine everyday, you just refreeze it, you dont have to put new water in every single time.

Or you could just use ice cubes lmao. This could be the most pointless invention of all time
the whole point is to prevent dilution
Watered down coffee
