You admitted it was your fault, thus admitted to cheating. Cheating is defined as gaining an advantage unfairly. This could be intentional or non intentional. No one in this world will know if you did it on purpose or not. Only you know this. But either way it is cheating by definition.
@@MPCG101 usually people think cheating has a negative connotation due to the thinking people do it intentionally. If you say you didn’t do it on purpose, then it’s all good, but by definition it is cheating. It’s not like you guys playing earth shattering games with insane prizes.
