So we should only sign up for Parts A & B. We don't need a Medicare Advantage plan if we will have TFL? I no longer consider Medicare a benefit. It's a hassle and going to end up costing me more than my current ins. Not happy about being forced to sign up (insert buy) Medicare.
I'm a USAFR retiree and don't use Tricare as I'm self employed. Can I sign up for Tricare for Life when I sign up for Medicare A & B? Also, my wife is 2 years older than me. When she is eligible to sign up for Medicare A & B, can she sign up for Tricare for Life even though I won't be eligible for 2 years?
Do you collect a monthly military pension? Are you both registered in Deers? If yes to both, then you should already have tricare(wife should be paying small monthly premium from your annuity). Once you are properly enrolled in Tricare, Deers will automatically enroll each of you into TFL when you are in Medicare A & B.

Thank you
If I have Tricare for Life (the supplemental insurance) Why do I need MediGap? Seems redundant to TFL.
For sure....it would be.
I was wondering the same.

If he is retired military he should have tricare even if he is self employed.
