Awesome. Love vintage footage and the trippy and soothing, yet eerie in a way, music. Cant believe the horse was on fire. I wonder where footage like this is found. People who read this, check out weekend wolves. Like this musician, they have great music with captivating authentic footage.
I had a terrible day today and seeing this in my notfications really made my day! I really believe one day you'll get the recognition you deserve, this is so good!
Lyrics: I want your bad moves I want your bad moves again I wanna feel it crawlin' in under my skin Cause ain’t you lonesome? Ain’t you lonesome just like me? We’re all driftin' Higher on the desert sand I wanna hold your shine I wanna hold your shine Wanna hold your shine When all your animals are holy than dreams My mountain, they may regret it like a fool Won’t take your heartbreak Honey, pour it in my cup We'd be closed in I’m gonna drink it up Wanna hold your shine I wanna hold your shine Wanna hold your shine I wanna hold your shine I wanna hold your shine Wanna hold your shine
Actually he sings I want to hold your shine, but close enough. Hm actually these lyrics are wrong, cause i'm reading them right now. I want to feel it We're all drifting On the desert sea Take your heartbreak Honey, pour in my cup I'm going to drink it up Those are the corrected lyrics. I felt special cause he mailed me out a cd haha. It looks like he typed in a lot of the lyrics and then had them printed on the case.
@@BlackCat06 Yeah he was nice enough to ship me his cd while being on the road. He's a real nice guy, i've talked to him a few times and he regularly comments back on FB. And no problem btw, I like to be accurate when it comes to lyrics but sometimes I find myself singing the wrong lyrics too haha.
Honestly, I couldn't tell you. I looked up the source and it is mentioned in the description but there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of information on it, just besides the basic. "Denys Colomb de Daunant wrote and acted in Albert Lamorisse’s boy-meets-horse film, White Mane, in 1953. Lamorisse’s feature concerns the wild horses that roam the Camargue in France, and the same horses are the subject of Dream of the Wild Horses (1960), a kind of oneiric sequel to White Mane. There’s no narrative, only a succession of slow-motion shots of horses fighting, running, and-in a sequence you hope wasn’t set up for the cameras-stampeding through a wall of flames. Of note for me is the score by Jacques Lasry which is performed on the Cristal Baschet, a unique instrument of glass and metal developed by François and Bernard Baschet in the 1950s. (See this post.) Films such as this depend more than most on their musical accompaniment, and the eerie, rumbling timbres of Lasry’s music help sustain the dreamlike qualities of the piece." So I guess it was some sort of sequel. I still don't know if he directed it like that or if this was some natural thing happening and he happened to capture it on film. I don't think they were hurt though, they just run through the flames.
Watching the actual video for "Dream of the wild horses" and this video is crazy, kind of like a fever/nightmare dream. But I really saw how much the video was edited and made into pure art for this video, even more so. All I can say is bravo, this is something special.
Very calming and beautiful song. Melancholic in a good way. In my Spotify loved songs list:) I’ m listening to it every week for the last 6 months..keep up with that sound flow.
"Take your heartbreak, honey, and put it in my cup, and I'll drink it up." That's actually a very nice and clever way of putting it.
How come this only has 40k views? That's unbelievable for me.
this is pure awesome art.

Lyrics:
I want your bad moves
I want your bad moves again
I wanna feel it crawlin' in under my skin
Cause ain’t you lonesome?
Ain’t you lonesome just like me?
We’re all driftin'
Higher on the desert sand
I wanna hold your shine
I wanna hold your shine
Wanna hold your shine
When all your animals are holy than dreams
My mountain, they may regret it like a fool
Won’t take your heartbreak
Honey, pour it in my cup
We'd be closed in
I’m gonna drink it up
Wanna hold your shine
I wanna hold your shine
Wanna hold your shine
I wanna hold your shine
I wanna hold your shine
Wanna hold your shine
Actually he sings I want to hold your shine, but close enough.

I want to feel it
We're all drifting
On the desert sea
Take your heartbreak
Honey, pour in my cup
I'm going to drink it up

I lost count how many times i listened to this today. Great song man.
Love this song & lowkey hoping no horses were hurt in the making of this video.

C’est très inspirant chef.
Beautiful, I really love the found footage of the horses - had a very cinematic western feel

Interesting imagery. I would hope those horses weren't really on fire.
Love the music. Hope the horses were not actually running through fire 😢
