If the TX 350 was available as a hybrid, I would definitely purchase it over the Grand Highlander Hybrid Max. Not being available as a hybrid is Toyota's way of making sure their GH hybrids keep on selling. The TX 500H FSport is 10k more than the TX 350 and around 15k more than the GH Platinum Hybrid Max. This is why the GH will sell more units than the TX 350 and the 500h.
