That's a great hut. I hunted there a couple of years back in the snow for a week. Great country too. Loved your video, it brought back some good memories 👍
Cheers Tristan. Yep the safari slings are great as long as your happy running the gun without one up the spout as it can be a bit on the dangerous side. Used the right way they are fantastic and safe. Good luck out there
Hello Daz....ive just started watching your videos and i must say im very impressed...keep up the great work. I have one question the stag head your mate found was that laying with a full skeleton?.with lung/chest.....damage...the reason i ask is i lost my 1st ever Sambar stag in that place around 3 years ago..i was so disappointed that i couldn't find it.. It would be interesting to hear where he found it... Any info would be great. Cheers Mark.
Thanks marky. Not sure about the stag, I’ll try and find out. It was on the private land there not far from the hut. Timing would be about right. I’ll come back to you
Into the Mountains cheers thanks for that Daz...i shot the stag just nth west of the hunt, just in the tree line about 150m in from the boundry fence...tracked him through the scrub for approx 1.5hr...following a good blood trail...then lost it as he was moving back down the hill in that last gully before u hit the dingo hill track...he was heading back towards the private property.... Just really curious to find out abit more info on its final location...as if it was the one i shot...be interesting to see how far he actually travelled before finally coming to a stop... Appreciate the reply👍
HillDogTV hey buddy! I didn't have a dig around mate, there was no exit so it would have been in there, the hole went further than my finger and had some shrapnel and pieces of loose bone so I ruled out a tine spike from another stag. No other scars on him either. Second one of found up there with a neck wound like that. Some guys should stick to chest shots hey 👍 Daz
Thats pretty full on - to have found 2 with bullet wound in the neckhole! Copy on behind the armpit , i struggle to hit the body let alone the neck :D keep it real man, cool too see other fellas huntin about
