She absolutely is incredible. I saw her journey on The Voice as a teenager, and when i saw her audition for AI, i couldn't believe she wasn't already on Broadway or in Vegas. She has grown and matured and become a beautiful young woman with tremendous stage presence and fabulous voice. Every genre of music and every performance she gives is really done beautifully. I'm just shocked that she's still struggling. There's a video of We Ani singing for Tony Bennett a few years ago that's lovely. I really hope she gets a break. She's obviously worked so hard and is so deserving.

The soul of American jazz, swing, bebop, R&B, gospel, blues, and soul and all quintessentially American music genres where Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Billie Holiday, Sammy Davis Jr., James Brown, Gladys Knight, Luther Vandross, D’Angelo, Lauryn Hill, and countless others began their road to stardom. This in her home town of Harlem NY. How perfect. Hopefully, what they need to do now is pair her with some of the amazing songs from the ladies I have mentioned above. She has the skill, emotion and ability to revive much of the most beautiful songs from that era. On her own, she can bring much of that back for our enjoynment.
