My favorite thing about Greg is how much he cares about trophies. I'm an Xbox achievement guy, but the way everyone around him doesnt care is just like my friends
Basement King please hold off with your 4chan lingo, cool internet guy. The point is that they used a rdr screenshot named it with rdr in the tittle and they talked about old Mario games longer than anything. But I’m sure you’re one of those people that no one you like can do wrong. It was clearly click bait because the trailer just came out. Go back to 4chan I’m sure you’re missing out on some dank qanon shit.
Billy Mech They talked about Mario games for like 10 minutes. That's not even close to what you are suggestion. They talked longer for other topics and it is easily skipable, you lazy ass.
I can confirm OC2 online multiplayer trophies do indeed act wackadoo. The host gets all trophies. The person joining gets most trophies, but not the ones that count towards story progression (i.e. they won't get "complete all world 1 levels" but they would get something like "use all emotes").
Its great to see more gameplay, but I want to see online and how it'll work. More so because I'm worried how montized it will be. That'll probably be part 3 in the videos.
Overcooked 1 had achievements/trophies for both local players it only became a problem in 2. The throwing felt like a natural extension of the gameplay from Overcooked 1 IMO.
The main difference that I can see on overcooked 2 is that you can throw things, but tbh the hit detection and lag is so bad that throwing stuff doesn't help in later stages lol I really hope they figure out how to minimise lag, like it's pretty bad even with a great connection.
I'm with Greg, I play with my brother and we are on the same page. WE DONT MOVE ON TILL WE GET 3 STARS! we play overcooked on xbox and I dont really care about achievements like that anymore but theres something that bothers me to my soul if we leave a stage with less than 3 stars!
It is nice to know there are SOME good people in the world who don't like to have people carry them to get the platinum trophies and their partners don't get them even though both players did the exact same thing.
I think I figured out why I don’t like Mario Odyssey as much as previous Mario games. There’s not enough platforming. Most of the moons are just random little tasks that you have to do, which is relaxing and fun in a way, but it’s just not challenging. It’s more about exploration than challenge, and that’s why I don’t like it as much. I still really like it though, there’s a lot good about it, but it’s probably my least favorite 3D Mario game. I gotta have that platforming.
Have gone through the whole backlog of the GameOverGreggy show hearing Salem and his unpronounceable last name I’m not even gonna try to spell is music to my ears
I played along (no cheating) on Mobile game or bullshit, I haven't even played Dark Souls and got all 5 points and the bonus. I'll pat myself on the back now
Read dead looks great but I'm just not super hyped about it. It's still too far away to get excited. I'm super excited for spiderman and valkyria chronicles 4.
100% that Overcooked BS was in the first game. Played through whole game with my brother. He got 100% trophies I got 79% for some reason. Even replaying though for those specific trophies I couldn't get 100%. Pissed me off. Now if my brother wants to play with his GF online with me it says they both need PS+ subscriptions even on his PS4... terrible.
Does the first Red Dead stand up to this day because Ive never played it and Ive been wanting to for a long time. Should I play it or just jump straight into RDR2?
I really like Jared but it seems to me he's hyping RDR2 too much. Technically it is doing new things, but at its core it still seems like a pretty traditional Rockstar game (I could be wrong), very directed gameplay, low on player agency, and thats Rockstar which is fine. On the topic of RDR I'm playing it for the first time and have got past where you kill Dutch, and Im finding the missions a bit tedious to be honest. Im assuming the game is pretty much over and am struggling to want to complete it. I have really enjoyed it, a super fun game, but to me its not a game where I wanted to spend dozens of hours, and am kindve left feeling it was a bit meagre on the content side. I don't want to shit on anyone's parade, maybe this type of game just isn't totally in my wheelhouse. I was very hyped for RDR2 hence why I picked up the original, but am now less so. I guess some people might want to temper their expectations for this one if they're anything like me. Maybe try RDR first if you haven't played it before picking up the sequel.
Jeff Pettis Hyping RDR2 is what we came for and I'm not sure it's possible to overhype it. You're talking about a the first game (which is 8 years old). No game is perfect, but RDR2 expands on everything from the first game, from the animations to the level of interaction in the world. It's already looking to be GotY for many.
The trophy bit just wasn't funny and was way too long, and then Jared gets all upset about the octopath joke... please. Just makes me think about how Greg treated Colin for his tamer joke.
"How Greg treated Colin for his tamer joke" you mean disagreeing with a joke in the least confrontational way possible? Colin was the one that made a giant deal out of it and acted like a triggered pussy by quitting and going around the "we're so oppressed" right wing press circle claiming they "threw him under the bus" for having a different opinion than him. And Colin claims it's everyone else that can't handle anything.
twitter.com/gameovergreggy/status/839656262111387648?lang=en This is what I'm talking about. "We didn't accomplish it today, we'll do better", etc. It's clearly throwing Colin under the bus. It was literally the tamest joke, and Greg admits he's said much, much worse. The context line is horseshit. Right here in this show he made the joke about abuse when it wasn't meant that from Jared, but did he apologize? Look, jokes are jokes, I don't care. But Greg tried to act high and mighty and better than Colin, and that would drive any friend away. It was shitty and I'll never really forget it, regardless if I also don't always agree with Colin or not.
Jared is a nice guy and all, no doubt about that he wouldn't hurt a fly. But half the time he's on his own fucking planet lol I've been to parties with a bunch of mates and we're all joking and saying inappropriate shit left and right and one time there's this new guy who took offense to everything one night and made a big deal of it and killed the buzz. What a shit night that was. It reminded me of that.
To be fair to overcooked 2 it's the kind of game you play couch co-op with your girlfriend or daughter, but still why would they limit the trophies like that. A way worse example is Far Cry 5 co-op which doesn't even save your progress when you play in someone else's game. I still haven't finished that game, and that's the main reason. Ubisoft has no excuse because they did it right with the division
Jared's categorization of Mario games is so illogical and dumb, what the hell? Super Mario 3D Land and 3D World have literally nothing remotely similar to Super Mario Land.
How exactly did God of War revolutionize anything? It was a great game, but it seemed to me more of a case of pulling a lot of existing concepts together. Some of it seemed kind of tedious and unnecessary. I hope all linear games don't all have to have loot and upgradable gear.
revolutionized the third person action hack and slash game, story telling being industry leading, single camera following the whole game is so unique, the freakin graphics and scale man.. it oozes quality thats industry leading
that's not the definition of revolution, Ali. The director literally says he's borrowed from Castlevania SOTN, Tomb Raider and The last of us. It's a best of. As Kotaku said it in their review of GoW, it feels like more of a trend follower than a trendsetter, a pastiche of ideas.
Concelhaut just like Horizon, but I enjoyed that a lot more than God of War. I enjoyed a lot of my time with God of War, but I don't think of it that fondly. For me it promised more than it delivered, although it is a solid 8 or maybe a 9
God of War is one of the best games on PS4, not the best in my opinion. If you like story uncharted 4 and Yakuza 6 do it better, and Horizon probably too. I'm at a loss at why the games commentators have such a different opinion to my experience. For some reason the story in God of War only grabbed me in places. The gameplay was really good in places, other times it felt a bit repetitive or just annoying in lock on mode
Yeah I've watched every episode of his Red Dead Redemption podcast. He has Jon Ryan, who works for IGN, on pretty much every episode, because he, along with a few other video game reporters, actually went to Rockstar North, in Edinburgh Scotland, and watched a 45 minute live gameplay demo. So Jon Ryan knows a lot about Red Dead 2. It's actually a great podcast to watch if your a big Red Dead, like myself.
Red Dead Redemption 2 talk starts around 1:09:30.
Zac PS ty
CLUTCH
Thank you!
Really appreciate that, hour and ten minutes of switch talk😒
you saved me so much time
My favorite thing about Greg is how much he cares about trophies. I'm an Xbox achievement guy, but the way everyone around him doesnt care is just like my friends
Erik Riley I definitely care about achievements as much as Greg cares about Trophies!!
one of the really cool things about him (and Colin); represent us trophy (and achievement) hunters
Jared was on a roll this episode. Bravo.
Jared is making me want to play Red Dead Redemption 2 so much more.
Phantom Doctrine hype for tomorrow ladies and gentlemen! :)
Mobile Game or Bullshit has quickly become my favorite part of Gamescast!
Thanks for another great week of Gamescast!
Man, sometimes Tim's opinions really throw me for a loop. The walking animations for Red Dead look bad ? LOL smh
JACK DAVYZ yeah for me also
JACK DAVYZ Tim doesn't know what the fuck he's talking about
JACK DAVYZ it’s almost as if he has a different opinion to you... omg I’ve never heard of that is this a new concept in the world?
28:06 There's an uncircumcised cloud between Greg and Jared lol.
This episode should be called “We talk about old Mario games” skip to 1:09:55 to get to the actual click bait.
Basement King please hold off with your 4chan lingo, cool internet guy. I mean brainlet isn't a 4chan term but go off king lmao
Billy Mech
They talked about Mario games for like 10 minutes.
That's not even close to what you are suggestion. They talked longer for other topics and it is easily skipable, you lazy ass.
red dead and spidey 2 are true next gen looking titles. can't wait!!
I looked away and forgot tim was there for a sec lol during that overcooked conversation up until valkyrie chronicles haha
I can confirm OC2 online multiplayer trophies do indeed act wackadoo. The host gets all trophies. The person joining gets most trophies, but not the ones that count towards story progression (i.e. they won't get "complete all world 1 levels" but they would get something like "use all emotes").
Greg is outta control with these trophies...😂😂😂
For all of you complaining about time codes, they're in the description...
Knowing all of the dark souls swords made this episode of mobile game or bullshit even better than it already was
Minit is on sale on Switch if you own another Devolver Digital title on the device.
I can't wait for Red Dead. I already know it will probably be my game of the year.
Its great to see more gameplay, but I want to see online and how it'll work. More so because I'm worried how montized it will be. That'll probably be part 3 in the videos.
Overcooked 1 had achievements/trophies for both local players it only became a problem in 2.
The throwing felt like a natural extension of the gameplay from Overcooked 1 IMO.
my greatest gaming achievement is beating mario lost levels and all the bonus worlds.
I'm not great at games, but my wife and I steamroll overcooked. It gets to a point where we don't talk, we just know our jobs.
Metal Sluggggggg! Huge fan of the series, I play those games all the time on my MVS.
The main difference that I can see on overcooked 2 is that you can throw things, but tbh the hit detection and lag is so bad that throwing stuff doesn't help in later stages lol I really hope they figure out how to minimise lag, like it's pretty bad even with a great connection.
I want Tim in a Mario Kart race with Matt Bragg from Achievement Hunter.
I’m one trophy away from that Overcooked 2 platinum. Did the story mode alone, though, because my husband refuses to play with me anymore lmao
Great episode, fellas!
God damn Greg!! You really brought the fire this episode! Lmao. Jared is right, you’d be quite the evangelist. Keep planting those seeds!!
It is nice to know there are SOME good people in the world who don't like to have people carry them to get the platinum trophies and their partners don't get them even though both players did the exact same thing.
21:00, God damn Greg looool
What do yall think about chocolate milk? Ya got a favorite kind?
I think I figured out why I don’t like Mario Odyssey as much as previous Mario games. There’s not enough platforming. My GOTY is easily God of War. Easiest 10/10 I’ve seen this generation, brilliant game from start to finish. Let’s see if RDR2 can beat it for me.
subject
for me gow is 9.5/10 because trolls repetitives and R3 animations
Have gone through the whole backlog of the GameOverGreggy show hearing Salem and his unpronounceable last name I’m not even gonna try to spell is music to my ears
Alex L I remembered that episode they were talking about!
Greg is a crazy man good lord lol
I don't know what to believe anymore... Jarred lied on the state test... Is E.T. A good game? Is the moon made of cheese? I won't sleep tonight.
I played along (no cheating) on Mobile game or bullshit, I haven't even played Dark Souls and got all 5 points and the bonus.
I'll pat myself on the back now
God of War definitely deserves GOTY, it's gonna be an interesting next few months.
Tim looking fina af as usual
Actually did not have to same issue with Overcooked 2. Played full game with the girlfriend and we both got trophies. Interesting...
I see all those drinks and assume in 45 mins.tim will have a piss break.
29 is the beginning of the end.
overcook 1 has share trophies for ps4
Prediction: Red Dead Redemption 2 will be 2018 Game of The Year. 🐎🤠👍
EliSalsa I guess it is what it is.
Overcooked 2 Kevin levels are ASDFGHJKL.
How is this titled "Red Dead Redemption 2 Hype!" when Tim is down on it and they talk about the game for less than 20 minutes? Good episode though.
Jared is very, very wrong about Super Mario Land and Super Mario World's "connection" to Super Mario 3D Land and Super Mario 3D World. Very.
LOL these guys left IGN for this 23k views.
well done, very good *sarcasm*
Read dead looks great but I'm just not super hyped about it. It's still too far away to get excited. I'm super excited for spiderman and valkyria chronicles 4.
Bring filip miucin on next week

It definitely holds up
get it
yeet
Definitely holds up. What you play it on matters too, Xbox One X plays it at 4k and it's gorgeous
HIgh OnCoIns Play it 🔥
Thanks for your feedback. I am definitely going to pick the game up on xbox one (backwards compatibility). Just gotta wipe the dust off my Xbox (:
@@goombaboomba593 currently doing the same, have fun!
You guys need to talk about DOOM Eternal in next episode
hope they keep those really cool duel dead eye showdowns from the multiplayer at the beginning of matches
Why does Tim continue to not know nothing lol
it´s a little out of focus
Why’s is Tim such a hater bro

It’s REAL GENIUS! REAL! lol
Jared is the best!
Jared is everywhere these days...how does he do it?....he's so enthusiastic!
RDR2 Hype-Train! WhoopWhoop! Tshk tshk tshk tshk Whoop!!
The trophy bit just wasn't funny and was way too long, and then Jared gets all upset about the octopath joke... please. Just makes me think about how Greg treated Colin for his tamer joke.
Jacob A. Williams God that pissed me off. Fuck sake he made a joke, Jarred is just too God damned sensitive. It was awkward as fuck.
@@UncleChunt He's just virtue signaling. Look, abuse is terrible, but it was just a joke. To carry on about it just makes him look pathetic.
"How Greg treated Colin for his tamer joke" you mean disagreeing with a joke in the least confrontational way possible? It takes you over an hour to get to the title subject? This is why you have so little subscribers.
1 hour and 9 minutes to get to video's topic and only 25 minutes to talk about the"hype"... Why bother.
Can y’all bring Colin back to discuss red dead 2 ?
VERY NICE VIDEO

Too bad it not on the switch.
gregg was kinda inappropriate a lot of times during this podcast
Denis Nelson good. There's nothing wrong with that. That's on you.
You are just bad if playing overcooked 2 is hard. They simpliefied playing by yourself. I play by myself and got 3 stars on everything
Gta 5 had a terrible story
