i remember in like 2009/2010 when this first came out, i listened to it over and over on repeat. That beat switch and bass drop still give me chills all this time later, and this was at a time when Eminem's comeback was still questionable. That's the payoff of following eminem's career, is just when you think hes lost his mojo, he comes out with something hard like this. Same thing happened with revival and the Chloraseptic remix, my honest initial reaction revival was meh, and I was chatting with a co-worker on break who also was a big rap fan. I brought up that I was worried that em had lost it and he was just like, follow me. Went to the car, turned that song on (the one with 2 chainz), and at 2:30-end of the 5 minute song, he goes in and totally destroys the notion I had that he may be losing it.
In that song theres a similar situation where the beat turns off (doesnt switch) and he keeps going acapella and doesnt miss a word. Cholaraseptic remix 2chainz phresher eminem 2018, check it out if you havent heard it. Youll get what i mean
