As always MH does the very best demo videos and just downright killer playing improvisations, I love the way he renders pop songs instrumentally and the pedals just sing, amazing player! I just managed to get one of these puppies to complete my new board build featuring Synergy rack system (4 module rig) and using my new 29 Pedals the EUNA and two OAMP end of chain into the tube power amp sandwich. This pedal will be my core drive section along with the Wampler Pantheon Deluxe which is also a great pedal. Dept 10 HV tube clean boost and my trusty EP booster round out the board. Magic stuff! This has got to be one of the best pedals of all time (GOAT)!!!! You're the best Mike, love the demos!
Got this in today and installed it on the board. Very interesting indeed, still tweaking around on it but for sure worth the price of admission. The PreAmp and HV Boost sections work well with anything clean and high gains. They are rather unique and I cannot really note anything they are similar to as he has added a moderate optical compressor into the Schafer preamp thing. The Jan Ray is at full a medium gain OD and despite what one might think, it does very well with my Les Paul's. Everything just sounds better and makes other things sound better. My Wampler Pantheon Deluxe loves it as well as my Synergy modules. One can get some added hiss floor in some combinations but I intend to get a new Revv G8 to hush my higher gain amps. Cool pedal indeed. I imagine the more I use it the more I will like it and all of its versatile combinations. Rather ingenious engineering design the way JD morphs two or three effects into entirely different pedals rather than just one into another like a simple chain. There isn't anything that compares to it at this point, a pedal lovers delight!
Yes it did and you probably are going crazy but not because of anything in this video. If anything, this video likely made you less crazy for a time but it will be back, don't worry, it always comes back.
Is it able to put some of the scoop back in a blackface? I want the Fender cleans and as close to the Marshall mids as I can get with a 6L6. I've been struggling with it.
try a marshall in a box pedal...there are several good options, depending on the tone you are going for. carl martin plexitone and jhs angry charlie are two standards
Does anyone else cycle through Mike’s videos to just listen to his intros? Another killer demo Mike!
Yes. He has some beautiful instrumental arrangements.
Pedal demo as high art.
@@10sassafras higher than most “art” for sure
Mike's tutorials are the best!
But we need a complete show!

The real star here is the music.
great pedal mike ! Ultimate overdrive/distortion!
Did that go from black Betty to another brick in wall or am I going crazy?
Yes it did! You're not crazy.

I feel much better about having a musical multiple personality disorder after having watched this.
Needs more knobs!
Nice!
You’re hired!
Monk is always best for any pedal eval.

I've been using the One Control Pale Blue Comp/EQ for that exact application. It's "mid" control really does the trick.

Killer Diller
