  • Get Specific Data with Excel FILTER Function
    In Excel for Office 365, you can use the FILTER function to create dynamic lists, based on your criteria. These lists will update automatically, if you change the source data or the criteria.
    In this video, see how to use the new FILTER function to create a list of cities in a specific region.
    Next, remove duplicates with the UNIQUE function, and finally, the use SORT function to put items in alphabetical order.

    Excellant video. Extremely helpful combination. Because of this exact combination I was able to construct my own pivot without pivot table restrictions. You also can use unique formula horizontally. Now I copy date from my ERP paste in my template the report is ready in few minutes.

    i just want to run the macro on one specific worksheet, even after having opened a different Excel workbook.
