Thames should have kept this program after Rediffusion lost its franchise, particularly before the Friday handover to LWT.

The tune in the Unco-operative Burglars sketch is also used in the Breathalyser track from Rick Wakeman's Criminal Record - which Bill Oddie sang on.

The Nosmo Claphanger Quiz Show reminds me so much of the Weakest Link :O.

I hate to break it to some of you but this is not in fact Episode 5 of At Last the 1948 Show. It isn't even a proper episode but a compilation of sketches from the show. The only negative about this is how the DVD this compilation is from hasn't bothered to state the fact that this is merely a compilation.
The original episodes these sketches are from are:
Bringing New Meaning to the Word Yech (Series 2, Episode 2)
Shirt Shop (Series 2, Episode 2)
The Nosmo Claphanger Show (Series 2, Episode 2)
Insurance for an Accident Prone Man (Series 2, Episode 2)
Uncooperative Burglars (Series 2, Episode 4)
Rowdy Scottish Ballet Supporters (Series 2, Episode 2)

Wish I could understand what Marty says right at the end. Also lol at the description - Graham "Clapman"

The music during The Nosmo Claphanger Quiz Show was also used in SpongeBob

The Scottish National Ballet Supporters also seems to have inspired the Football Crazy episode of The Goodies later on.

Gotta say, Graham's Yorkshire accent is way better than his Scottish accent... :/
Loved him in the policeman and robbers sketch though, couldn't stop giggling! XD
