turkish airlines actually gives toothbrush, toothpaste in the amenity kit on a 9 hour flight also they give better headphones that covers ur ears also one thing turkish also gives a menu on economy class on 9 hour flights
Yeah, you were served börek. Typical Turkish pastry. Sometimes it can be with potato or egg plant. The spinach one is popular. I'm an expat living in Türkiye, and its nice to pop into a bakery and grab warm börek for breakfast. 😋
Oh they can fly to Athens, Selanik and whatever tiny little village you have. Both manned and unmanned. From ISTANBUL served with love. Don’t hate participate (if you can:)
How was your experience with Turkish Airlines and the weight of your carry on/personal item ? i know you are allowed 8kg for carry on and 4kg for personal item. If I am a kilo or a half a kilo over weight, will they be strict about it ?
Seems to have been a pleasant flight. I'm glad to see that Turkish Airlines still has decent meals. I've seen some reviews that their Business Class meals weren't as substantial as before the pandemic. However, your Economy Class meals looked fine. They were certainly better than most airline offerings nowadays. Glad that your wife was able to pre-order her Vegan meals, although they didn't look as appetizing as what's offered on SQ or JAL. There used to be a great deal offered to passengers having a long layover in Istanbul (and connecting to a Turkish flight). One was a free hotel room and transportation to and from the airport. The other was a 6 hour tour of the city. Do you know if that's still available? Looking forward to your upcoming adventures. Enjoy your weekend.
@@jvstcu76 Thanks! I’ll be flying with Turkish Airlines in Business Class in a few months, so we’ll see if the meals are any good. I’m pretty sure they still have a stopover program, but it might not be as expensive as it was before the pandemic.
Hello NYC Flyer, Do you think appearance, age, body weight, hairdo, uniform matter when it comes to flight attendants? Does it matter to you how they look? Do you think the overall score would be higher if the flight attendants (female, especially) were young, slim, smiley, smell good, had nice hairdo, nice legs, squat/bend down when they talk to you?
