The steps involved was good to see. Really clears up how it all comes together. Whoever first thought of mixing the damage types on the heralds changed everything

Hey! Glad to see networking pay off. This is definitely one of my better videos. They take more time to research and such, so hopefully it works out for you.
I have been running this for about 6 days now. This is the giga-map-blaster extraordinaire. Absolute giga-fun tier. Coming off infernalist minion build (which very respectable clear speed) this was like leaping into a 4th dimension of speed.
This was very informative Ty, I’ve been fiddling around with your old crit build and gone some ele stuff as I near 95+, corridor mapping with flicker is one of its strongest points I feel so being able to keep that up consistently is gonna be huge.
To people who are thinking of trying this out, this is extremely high budget. You'd need a tremendous amount of atk speed to even make the initial hit even feel good as a main skill. And even then, to make it so that you're not backtracking all the time you'd need an even higher amount of dmg to make sure that you're actually freezing things so that CoF will proc and so that things are actually dying in one hit instead of 2 or 3+ hits. But to make it even clearer, the bulk of the clear comes from herald explosions, not actually flicker itself. Flicker is just the "vehicle" per se that carries you through packs. I don't want to undermine the work that went into this build, but I also don't want beginner and intermediate players to get tricked into thinking that this is a realistic build that most players will be able to achieve
Welcome back Snoo! My only issue with this and similar builds I find online is, as you stated, there is a fine line between the build operating as intended and not. This means there is most likely a threshold of Physical, Lightning and Cold damage that I must meet in order to get the shatters and explosions I am seeing in your demo. Not one guide I have found online tells us what that threshold is. They usually say you need cold or you need lightning damage on your weapon. How much? We all know a weapon with +10 vs +100 lightning damage is a big difference in damage and price; why on earth is this never explicitly called out? The reason this is important is as you know, the viewer has to invest into Jewelers Orbs and gear to make it work. I was really sad to hear you were hacked and very happy you came back. What surprised me was the video where you stated some folks assisted you in getting back to what you had. I am similar to you, in that I never want to be given anything, it ruins the rewards of the game for me. This didn't bother me at all, it was the number of divines that shocked me. I saw a few streamer polls from the community and the majority of PoE2 players do not even have 5 divines. I have over 300 hours played, I do not have 5 divines. When streamers mention this is 'affordable', its kind of similar to a millionaire telling you something is inexpensive. FYI, I am a new PoE player and it takes me a solid hour to two hours to swap builds. Between swapping out my gems, re-purchasing gear, etc to match someone's build online. I'm not saying it is yours or anyone else's intention to brick people's builds; but please understand the difference between what you have and what the average player has and perhaps release a disclaimer at the beginning of your guides stating what the investment would require at least. I swapped to your flicker build when you released the guide about a week ago and since then had to swap off of it, this cost me a ton of what little currency I have.
Sorry to hear the old flicker didn't work well. I think people tend to overestimate how much a build has to cost to get up and running. While it's true I'm wearing items like Hand of Wisdom and Ingenuity. I did a mock showcase yesterday on stream where I just straight up removed both of those items (no replacement items), and removed rows 5 & 6 from my links. And the build still performed at around 70% efficiency. Meaning it was still a high performing build. Cold I've talked about before. On old guides I always said get a big cold roll on the weapon (means 35-70+). Two huge rolls on rings/gloves can make up for it though. For me in my build, I have one highest tier cold roll on my ring, affected by Ingenuity. And I'd like to get another one on the other, but don't at this time. Regular maps it doesn't matter, but ailment threshold or higher res maps or even delirious maps I notice power charge uptime suffers a bit. Hope this helps.
Hey brother, I’ve played thousands of hours in poe1 and already racked up well over 300 in poe2. I’d love to offer some advice. Firstly, comparison is the thief of joy. Poe has a massive learning curve, and making currency comes with time and most importantly knowledge. With that out of the way, currency making can also seem quite daunting. I’m not playing this build personally, so I can’t speak to the requirements for clear, but I can speak to general requirements for making money. Firstly: if you can’t kill the breach bosses yourself, pay for a carry, it’s worth it to get the points. Secondly: rarity is quite key in the current meta. Stacking as much rarity you can feasibly fit in your build without losing the ability to comfortably clear t15/16 content is paramount. Somewhat along similar lines is quantity. As snoo says in the video you’re often going to be pathing through useless maps to get to condensed tower layouts. I’d focus your atlas passive points on rarity, pack size, and precursor effect. Roll some precursors with quantity on them and toss those into the towers(rarity and quantity go hand in hand in terms of getting the most out of a map). Once you do that look for some good breach layout maps and run your very best maps on those (rarity, pack size, number of rares, etc). Then on the lesser layouts run slightly worse maps. On solo boss maps, run a map with as many suffixes as your build can handle to sustain maps. Generally speaking, juicing a map is a somewhat confusing process of balancing difficulty of the map vs your builds ability to handle it, as your build gets stronger you’ll be able to handle harder content that is more rewarding.
@@snoobae8553 Thank you Snoo. I think the point I am trying to make in regards to build cost, is that I don't care if I'm not doing as much damage as you are or even have all of your items. I understand that by playing the game, I will progress and get stronger. What I want to know is, what is the minimum to do your build and what problems will I run into if I do not meet those requirements. How much total minimum cold damage do I need for example and does that minimum number still accomplish what I saw in your demo? how will it vary? How much total evasion and/or ES do I need as another example. I never hear anyone say in their builds, "you need to be running X amount for this build to work". And as stated earlier, the difference between 50 and 100 cold damage on a weapon can translate to A LOT of currency, so the numbers matter. I only found your channel about a week or so ago, so I was unaware of your twitch stream, I'll definitely come check it out. Thanks again for taking the time to respond. P.S. The flicker build was my favorite build so far, however I was constantly dying in T15s. Only reason I swapped away.
@@kyleevans1129 hey man, really appreciate the feedback on currency. I never paid anyone for a carry before. Do you know how I go about doing this in game and how much it would cost?
i can already see the heralds being hit with a "cannot inflict ailments" tag... as much as I hate for that to happen. But right now seems like everyone is just able to go nuts as long as they can fit a double herald setup in somehow
I was noticing the same thing today, it almost feels like i dont even need flicker on my bar anymore. I actually experimented with falling thunder for a while but didnt feel that good. Appreciate the findings. Keep up the good content
that video actually comes out the day i managed to make "my" build work (i looked at a lot of builds and tried around with different aspects of them). before watching the video: the biggest thing for me is useing 2 cast on freeze with profane ritual and the quaterstaff point that basically gives +1 charge. im on a budget tho, because thats just a fun side project for me, im mainly playing deadeye. the hearled tip is huge, it makes sens and feels really good. i managed to get some damage on my main skills that way, thx. my biggest problem with monk, compared to my deadeye is, that i just cant get enough movement speed and fit blink, so backtracking is a pain. it feels really good, if there are monsters, but as soon as you hit a deadend, or after clearing a big breach it feels super bad to snail around. (i saw your "movement jewl" video, still very slow)
Hey SnooBAE! thanks for the cool build! been loving it so far. Just a question though. how do we maintain power charges in boss fights and get these insane flicker strikes on them?
Hey bro great video, love how u go through step by step n break it down. U should try herald of ash. Makes explosions with the excess damage from when u kill an enemy. No fire damage needed for the ignitions. Looks great! 14:21
Nice tech, at first I thought it was just another content creator copying the herald setup but the aoe swap with conc and inc aoe is smart! Very nice snoob!
hey snoo, I'm looking at your planner for late game mapping with your original build. What do the nodes that are green represent? Sorry, just a bit confused after staring at it for so long. I'm not sure if those are comparisons to the new attribute stacker or something else and just wanted to be sure.Specifically, the nodes near Way of Wind I wasn't sure if you take those or not. Since I did not get hacked, I'm not changing to the new setup. Thx again.
That was a bossing setup with weapon swap tech. Green is off-weapon with +levels to melee skills quarterstaff as only priority. orange is where the other regular points went in. The only skill used in the off-spec was Hand of Chayula.
@@snoobae8553 Ohh gotcha - when I picked the late end game - mapping setup they show up and I didn't realize you had swapping baked into the build, so I wasn't sure. Thank you for the quick clarification. I took out the trial boss with the original mapping setup believe it or not (took FOREVER) lol..figured it was time to respec after getting my last ascendancy points :) Do you miss your original build?
You answered very important questions and confusions about the build. Especially herald shatter and flicker strike not moving to anywhere was a major issue for me. Thank you for the amazing work
Could you please explain the AoE tag on Hand of Chayula? Is it the same sort of thing as what you were saying with Flickers AoE? Some people are telling me it can AoE but I've tested it with Magnified Effect and taken all the unarmed nodes in the passive tree that also have increased area of effect. I've tried testing by applying solely Despair curse and also poison but cannot get it to apply to multiple enemies, even when they're overlapping.
Hi! Great Showcase! I'm hoping you might be able to help me problem-solve an issue i'm having. I'm level 75, also stat-stacking (though I went gemling) and had been using Storm Wave to great success. The issue with storm wave was, i had to spam it and that started stressing my hands. This is partly because, at level 72-ish I started running t-9s and t-10s and mobs were no longer being one-shot. But I digress. I just did a practice run with your setup in a tier 2 map just to see how it feels and while I did get it to function properly (in terms of movement, and charge generation), flicker itself does no damage. What this meant, even in tier 2 maps, was that if my heralds didn't immediately one shot the mobs I flickered to, they were left alive, thus not generating me more charges. None of my gems are fully 6-linked like yours (it will take me ages to get to that point lol), but I did get flicker to a 5-link, using your suggested mvp supports. My StormWave, which I'm still using for initial power charge generation, does 20k dps at baseline with no supports, while FlickerStrike shows 4k at baseline. I'm not sure if I've messed up somewhere (though I've now watched this video about 7 times), or if Flicker just requires levels of investment and damage that I'm just not at yet. For reference (in case its helpful), I have 486 strength, 270 dex, 120 int. I have decent gear, but none of the giga-stat-stacking pieces like HoWa or Astramentis. Storm Wave with full supports shows 41k on tooltip. Flickerstrike shows 4.3k in tooltip when supported with Magnified Effect, Momentum, Perpetual Charge, and Martial Tempo (I didnt actually catch if this was the last support you were using, just that they were all green, lol). Also, all of my gems are only level 17 (because I'm still only level 75). ~P.S. - my CoF setup is currently only 4-linked, I left out the mark.
I wish I'd mentioned this in the video but I wasn't really showcasing attribute flicker per se. If you use Pillar weapon, you must have good flat damage rolls on your rings. Preferably 4+ rolls between 2 rings. And one of them needs to be a high cold roll at least.
@@snoobae8553 i've got giga flat rolls on both rings and gloves. 1 ring: 16-18 fire and 12-17 cold 2 ring: 7-20 phys and 7-16 cold gloves: 12-18 phys and 2-26 lightning
Great video Snoo! I can't help but be worried that the Herald chains will be nerfed, seems very strong. I'm currently playing pure Cold Flicker (Ice Strike, Charged Staff with Cold Infusion/Glaciation, and Cast on Freeze with Hypothermia/Frost Bomb and Soul Springs Eternal). Doing pretty well despite being less than optimal and having a ton of fun freezing and shattering everything. I want to try out Freezing Mark as a Voltaic Mark alternative.
@snooBAE85 this is absolutely incredible and I hope all the other flicker innovators see this and build off of it further somehow. I received a headhunter last night from a kindly blue T5 boss and was wondering if there was any way to spice up this build with HH since it can go through rares so fast? i know the belt that enhances ring power is ideal for pumping up attributes but I do not think i'll be seeing that for a while. keep up the phenomenal work
I tried Headhunter but flicker had issues with it. That was a different setup so maybe it's good now. Last time I had Headhunter I got hacked though. Kind of don't even want to look at that item. xD
@@snoobae8553 once i have the kind of clear speed you are displaying on the super juiced maps i will try hh again but i'm definitely nowhere near a point where it makes sense over a good rare.
Thanks for the demo. Where is freeze coming from? Are the ascendancy and 5% added nodes enough? Herald of Thunder isn’t going to convert cold to lightning. Also, any thoughts on a less expensive passive tree? Those jewels are pricey.
Hi @SnooBAE85. I love your videos and always look forward to new content from you. I even manually check your channel even though just in case I missed a notification ;) I have a question. I copied your build... but... it is so freaking powerful that I do not even need flicker strike anymore. I only zoom through maps and if I see a mob I just tap tempest flurry button for a millisecond and the whole screenn explodes. So im literally just running -> click -> running -> click. Its amazing. The only thing really lacking in my case is bossing. The bosses live too long. Dont you think we need to improve bossing on that build?
I do star stack tempest flurry and just use flicker casually to speed up the mapping. I got crazy aoe because cages god staff gives a ton. Even with only 3 power charges, it speeds up a lot, and it helps a ton with those maps layout, as a pseudo "blink".
Since your account got hacked before your CI crit variant got a video, question for ya. I see you use the call of the brotherhood to convert all lightning to cold... is this an absolute must for the build to operate correctly? really hard to get res on this build.
Hey man love the video. I'm thinking of respecing to this but I'm only level 76 and on the Maxroll the early endgame version of the skill gems don't do what you suggest here as far as (1) using both HoI and HoT and (2) using lightning supports on HoI/ice supports on HoT. Was that an intentional choice for lower level characters who are missing certain gear or passive tree nodes? Or is that just left over from previous iterations of the build?
Kind of left over from previous iterations mostly. I'm not really sure going back that far to what extent all this new stuff can be used, as well. You should try to incorporate the new with the early setup if possible.
Can you please explain why you only take 1 of the +1 to power charge nodes instead of all of them? Not having 7 really makes charge staff duration painful 30 sec is just so short.
I'm taking +2 node and +1 node, so its 6 total. 7th is too much and not waste of points in my opinion. You gotta put quality on your charge staff it gives it 20% more duration
you probably perfected flickerstrike at this point looking forward to what else you can get out of the skill (19:38 Jungroans stupid build prob clears faster than this i know the budget is not the same tho lol)
It would be almost no difference IF I had another cold roll on my other ring. I know this because previous versions of my build shredded that content with Call of the Brotherhood equipped. Without a 2nd cold roll, it suffers though.
I had Profane Ritual in this build. But shortly on it was revealed to me that Lingering Illusion with Minion Pact on Tempest Flurry would enable out-of-combat power charges to be acquired. At any rate, my Megalomaniac is Power Within and Stormcharged.
Also- any chance you could add anoint possibilities to the maxroll guide? I cannot see jewels for some reason either on the tree despite them being there, could be my browser.
Personally I love the build, I’ve changed to combat frenzy for the charges as I found it’s a ton easier to gain charges when not swarmed or is it a case of getting used to it? edit: i like how it is after trying it your way, my one problem is mana xD Thanks for going into so much detail :)
Hey, great video thanks. I just had one question about the two CI attribute stacking end game builds on the maxroll page. The last two have the same name but significantly different passive tree and skill gem setups, is was just wondering what the difference between both are and which one to follow? Thanks
One is crit and the other isn’t. Crit is better but a little slower and squishier as you gotta sacrifice some speed and defense for it. Crit is way better for bossing with the ascendancy point for penetration. I think Crit becomes better in basically every aspect once you can cover some of the shortcomings of defense on gear and once you have enough passive points. I probably wouldn’t go for Crit until after level 90.
@@snoobae8553 Ah!, i see thanks, i really appreciate the instant response :). Last question, how do you generate power charges with the non-crit build, as you arent using resonance in the passive tree? Are you just using illusion and working with smaller flicker strike combos?
It's mainly for single target. But yeah it does contribute to clear slightly (not really necessary for that). To be fair, it does greatly increase the chance an enemy gets shocked for whatever reason my Innervate may be down or Herald's not ramping. It can jump start the process by forcing Herald of Thunder to proc due to a marked enemy almost certainly dying shocked. Then herald of thunder will feed into herald of ice, visa versa.
@@snoobae8553 i see so im running the same build as you what i figured out is if you have similar cold/lightning flat you will proc both heralds extremely consistently my cold/lightning is around 130/150 and never haev issues proc-ing entire map but flicker sometimes dont travel again lol cuz heralds are proc-ing too hard also another question is why do you use both cast on and combat frenzy? thanks for replying btw love your content
As it is written, Momentum does NOT work with Flicker Strike. And I have no idea how we're concidering a teleportation as a "dash" as it is not as how the skill is worded to work. Either a bug which will be fixed or wasted support socket.
I believed it didn't work the whole time, because as you say it doesn't suggest that it would due to 'teleport' language. But I was informed by numerous people that it did. Some other person tested it. I don't have any proof of that, but I was convinced at the time. I'd be open to being proven incorrect again to go back to my original position. I did sense a damage increase with it as well. But didn't do any real testing with it.
I think the 1st strike in the chain for flicker strike technically counts as a dash. like using flicker with 0 charges, and that’s what’s making the support work for every strike after
I removed talents related to increased damage on critical strikes and removed support gems like icebite that enhance damage from the skill gem setup. I tested this on low-level maps, and momentum did not noticeably provide more damage on the tooltip. I'm not sure if other testers experienced the same results.
How do you guarantee freeze so that Herald of Ice actually pops? Is it just having cold damage on your weapon/gloves, combined with the cold damage on Herald of Lightning that's always freezing?
@@1JamesZ yeah I am using Combat Frenzy too. But this guy's build is better for mapping. I hope there will be a better way as I don't want to re-select my Passive every time I solo Boss. Because if you use flicker, it is best to use it with Profane Ritual to clear map faster. I remember there was one video using the summoning skill to summon 3 undead, then use a skill to consume those undead for Charges when solo boss. It's really cool but the video did not show the build or details so still no idea what those skills were. That person also used Profane Ritual for mapping.
@@trietwong4801 the trick is to get so much raw dps that you don’t need to have charged staff to melt a boss, I switched to cast on freeze now and it’s insanely better
@@snoobae8553gotcha. for bossing you’d switch to resonance and tempest flurry, right? for mapping, maybe it’s possible to drop skill ring / tempest flurry?
I tried looking through the last few videos, but isn't it hard to maintain power charges with fewer power charge nodes AND charge infusion constantly ticking it down? I guess i am not quite sure how to maintain them
@@snoobae8553 yeah I think i will go back to the other cast on freeze setup for the moment. i just feel robbed of my power charges esp with how few we have on the tree.
Hey man, been watching your Flicker Strike video daily, it's been really helpful. just wanted to contribute to say that I found another way to generate power charges, without using profane ritual. Not sure if it's going to be valuable to you. This will require: Blink and Lingering Illusion, and minion pact on tempest flurry. Blink - Ingenuity and Arcane Temp Lingering Illusion - Profusion Basically you blink, and immediately press tempest flurry, you get 2 charges. (Q of Illusion contributes to additional charge), not sure if you have lvl 21/20 you can get 3 charges with profusion. I'm currently using this setup without profane ritual, and it already works quite well. Pairing it with profane works godly, but I wanted to add a bit more dmg/auras.
FYI this is for ppl who don't want to swap out combat frenzy and passives just for temporary bossing. This allows 100% uptime without relying on corpses or the need to wait for internal cd of combat frenzy.
Holy shit dude. This is the best tech I've gotten from a viewer maybe the entire EA. Bravo. I don't know if you discovered it yourself but I can't believe that work. Without Blink even. Funny thing is I was beginning to come around to the idea of using Lingering Illusion just as it stands naturally, but hated the RNG nature of it. No Blink required, so kind of unsure why Blink is a big player here for its heavy cost of another skill and 60 spirit. Still, just the Minion Pact thing affecting the copy of yourself (it's not a minion, lol?) That's massive. Thanks a bunch. In fact, I'll almost certainly make a video on this specific idea. Completely revolutionizes bossing issues for charges AND might even replace CoF Profane Ritual.
@@snoobae8553 Hey! Glad to see you loving the tech, the techs you've been sharing have been huge too, so I wanted to contribute. I came across this on a local forum in Taiwan, some guy who played minions mentioned it as an idea, after testing it, I confirmed it was good. **Rolling Explanation** Rolling works too, and allows infinite charge without down time, but requires enough duration (or less roll duration) for the illusion to be still intact before our minion pact hit. **Why Blink** I just have blink since I was testing with it, and back flickering is a real issue when it comes to breaches, it also really helps with maneuvering when there's no mobs. **Core Tech** The idea behind it is funny, since we go CI and have only 1 health, our illusion is now 1HP as well. so sacrificing 100% of our life (1 HP) kills it instantly. It seems to be a common thing in minion builds(?), that sacrificing count towards as killed by enemies.
It can't be populated unfortunately. Use it to get whatever you're missing. Attributes is fine, but I got % as extra fire damage and fire resistance. Had no fire damage roll on the build and wasn't fire resist cap without it.
@ hey mate, thanks for the info :) great build … Trying to follow I had 110 div I wanted to buy an astramentis but then decided to spend it across the rest of my gear and upgrade to astramentis later
Polcirkeln should be used to get a similar effect with only Herald of Ice. Also can be used if your cold damage is really bad and can't seem to freeze anything.
@@snoobae8553 it seems like my freeze is ok. I freeze enemies almost instantly so freezing is not an issue, but you mentioned something in the video. You said something about the Polcirkeln Ring being ineffective if I’m swapping elements. If I wanna keep using the ring; should I just not swap element support gems?
Well, I don't think it's gonna be any better, but maybe for the sake of freezing if you aren't freezing otherwise. I like Tempest Flurry's gliding mechanism with attribute stacking fast moving/attacking.
Well especially now after most recently video, power charges are super easy to acquire. And speed is so fast siphon strike isn't really needed as a gap closer anymore either.
I'm confused SnooBAE85 how are you getting 250 spirit from your chest and from campaign? I looked up your updated build and you have 250 spirit worth of buffs but your chest is adding up to 148 spirit? Could you explain please? I'd like to add cast on crit but I don't see anything giving 150 spirit. Appreciate it man!
I’m getting 166 spirit from Lead me through Grace ascendancy point for Invoker. 1 spirit per 15 evasion on body armor. I have a 2496 evasion body armor. You need about 2300 to fit everything minus clarity, precision, etc. without that just go cast on freeze in maps and it’s a lot cheaper on spirit.
@snoobae8553 ohhhhh I see, cause on your written guide it shows you have a 2222 evasion body. Thank you so much for taking the time to reply back. Means alot. I wanted to drop combat frenzy for cast on crit because I run profane ritual and lingering illusion for power charges. Ill keep searching for a big body armour piece. Thank you!

@@kyleevans1129can we be friends? 😂 Good god, bro you have one of the best explanations I’ve heard so far on RUclips

This is the video I needed to go flicker! Thanks for sharing your wisdom!
Nice
Thx for the video! Did you consider Queen of the Forest Smuggler Coat for even more zooming to reach 200% ms speed?
i can already see the heralds being hit with a "cannot inflict ailments" tag... as much as I hate for that to happen. But right now seems like everyone is just able to go nuts as long as they can fit a double herald setup in somehow
yep its happening on every single class so it will most likely be nerfed as soon as ggg team comes back from new years holidays
Great job sharing this tech. Will use it when I graduate from the ring on my new Deadeye. That live search trolled me throughout the vid, lol
I was noticing the same thing today, it almost feels like i dont even need flicker on my bar anymore. I actually experimented with falling thunder for a while but didnt feel that good. Appreciate the findings. Keep up the good content
So much good knowledge shared! Good watch. Saved and liked.
Thankyoj Sir that hekoed alot and congrats in getting new gear after the bad event
that video actually comes out the day i managed to make "my" build work (i looked at a lot of builds and tried around with different aspects of them).
before watching the video:
the biggest thing for me is useing 2 cast on freeze with profane ritual and the quaterstaff point that basically gives +1 charge. im on a budget tho, because thats just a fun side project for me, im mainly playing deadeye.
the hearled tip is huge, it makes sens and feels really good. i managed to get some damage on my main skills that way, thx.
my biggest problem with monk, compared to my deadeye is, that i just cant get enough movement speed and fit blink, so backtracking is a pain. it feels really good, if there are monsters, but as soon as you hit a deadend, or after clearing a big breach it feels super bad to snail around. (i saw your "movement jewl" video, still very slow)
Hey SnooBAE! thanks for the cool build! been loving it so far. Just a question though. how do we maintain power charges in boss fights and get these insane flicker strikes on them?
enlightening information, thank you
Hey bro great video, love how u go through step by step n break it down.
Very nice snoob!
the feedback loop on the haralds is so good. i hope they dont nerf it which means they probably will
Happy new year!
hey snoo, I'm looking at your planner for late game mapping with your original build.
I love how we are making it into PoE1.
Seriously, if this isn't at least mentioned by the Devs, my time with POE2 is going to be severly reduced.
You answered very important questions and confusions about the build. Especially herald shatter and flicker strike not moving to anywhere was a major issue for me. Thank you for the amazing work
You're welcome.
Thanks a ton for this info!
1 ring: 16-18 fire and 12-17 cold
2 ring: 7-20 phys and 7-16 cold
gloves: 12-18 phys and 2-26 lightning
Really really nice good job. How is it on bosses ?
Thanks for the demo. Where is freeze coming from? Are the ascendancy and 5% added nodes enough? Herald of Thunder isn’t going to convert cold to lightning. Also, any thoughts on a less expensive passive tree? Those jewels are pricey.
One cold roll on a ring.
Two is better though.
Hi @SnooBAE85. I love your videos and always look forward to new content from you. I even manually check your channel even though just in case I missed a notification ;)
I have a question.
Probably need to transform into a crit build to have good bossing DPS. Boss resistance is an issue. Also, mana is an issue too.
Nice breakdown
I do star stack tempest flurry and just use flicker casually to speed up the mapping. I got crazy aoe because cages god staff gives a ton. Even with only 3 power charges, it speeds up a lot, and it helps a ton with those maps layout, as a pseudo "blink".
Works like a charm, apart from the fact that it crashes twice per map :D could you share your settings?

have you toyed with the idea of a gemling flicker strike build?
Nah not in particular. I have some sense of what it entails, but I haven't even theorycrafted one.
I’m trying it as we speak, and it isnt looking good honestly.
@@PNW_MX222 survivability issues or what? I think they don’t go crit, don’t get much survivability, and stack 500-1000 all attributes in the end.
Since your account got hacked before your CI crit variant got a video, question for ya. I see you use the call of the brotherhood to convert all lightning to cold... is this an absolute must for the build to operate correctly? really hard to get res on this build.
No it's not. It's just really nice for getting freeze.
Just time when you are trying to make a highlight intro just press tab to see the game, just a tip, the intro was fire.

Why is no one using the support skill "Unleash" for "profane ritual" ? It can cast multiple rituals on 1 cast.
any plans on making the attribute stacking for bossing build guide?
would like to see u doing 120 more life and 80 res or ailment threshold map
It would be almost no difference IF I had another cold roll on my other ring. I know this because previous versions of my build shredded that content with Call of the Brotherhood equipped. Without a 2nd cold roll, it suffers though.
Hello, what amulet anoint that aren't crazy expensive did you recommend to the build if not a tribute stacking?
I'm just using Defiance right now at this moment. Super cheap.
Tainted strikes is cheap if you want crit
atm i see no way to get the power charge instead of the frenzy charges, and what is the bonus on your Megalomaniac Diamond?
I had Profane Ritual in this build. But shortly on it was revealed to me that Lingering Illusion with Minion Pact on Tempest Flurry would enable out-of-combat power charges to be acquired. At any rate, my Megalomaniac is Power Within and Stormcharged.
what are your resistances on this? feels hard to get capped with the suggestions you put.
Also- any chance you could add anoint possibilities to the maxroll guide? I cannot see jewels for some reason either on the tree despite them being there, could be my browser.
Jewels I may have forgot. But annoint will ultimately be spaghettification but initially something like Defiance is great and cheap.

Do you have any sources of flat cold on your rings or gloves or weapon?
Hello Snoo. Do the previous CI Crit skills need an update?
I would just call that a different variation of the build. But yeah I'd probably use reverse herald tech there too.

Can you put a rough budget on each of the mapping variants? Should I go attribute stack straight away?
what does voltage mark do in this build?
seems like its the odd one out dont you think?
or are u using it to proc the herald better?
It's mainly for single target. But yeah it does contribute to clear slightly (not really necessary for that). To be fair, it does greatly increase the chance an enemy gets shocked for whatever reason my Innervate may be down or Herald's not ramping. It can jump start the process by forcing Herald of Thunder to proc due to a marked enemy almost certainly dying shocked. Then herald of thunder will feed into herald of ice, visa versa.
@@snoobae8553 i see
so im running the same build as you
what i figured out is if you have similar cold/lightning flat you will proc both heralds extremely consistently
my cold/lightning is around 130/150 and never haev issues proc-ing entire map
but flicker sometimes dont travel again lol cuz heralds are proc-ing too hard
also another question is why do you use both cast on and combat frenzy? thanks for replying btw love your content
cuz when u dont have resonance node on you are getting frenzy charges im not sure what do you need those for?
Exactly what I want to see in POE2, wiping entire screens in a single click, fantastic challenging gameplay =_=
I think the 1st strike in the chain for flicker strike technically counts as a dash. like using flicker with 0 charges, and that’s what’s making the support work for every strike after
I believe ten_frenzy_flicker said momentum works with flicker because of the back step animation at the start of a flicker
Is it just having cold damage on your weapon/gloves, combined with the cold damage on Herald of Lightning that's always freezing?
great build for maps. But how will you solo boss efficiency without Charge? Because you only get charges from Profane Ritual on dead mops.
I run combat frenzy instead of cast on freeze etc
@@1JamesZ yeah I am using Combat Frenzy too. But this guy's build is better for mapping. I hope there will be a better way as I don't want to re-select my Passive every time I solo Boss. I remember there was one video using the summoning skill to summon 3 undead, then use a skill to consume those undead for Charges when solo boss. Right now it's Power Within and Stormcharged.
Blink - Ingenuity and Arcane Temp
Lingering Illusion - Profusion
Basically you blink, and immediately press tempest flurry, you get 2 charges.
**Rolling Explanation**
Rolling works too, and allows infinite charge without down time, but requires enough duration (or less roll duration) for the illusion to be still intact before our minion pact hit.
**Why Blink**
I just have blink since I was testing with it, and back flickering is a real issue when it comes to breaches, it also really helps with maneuvering when there's no mobs.
**Core Tech**
The idea behind it is funny, since we go CI and have only 1 health, our illusion is now 1HP as well. so sacrificing 100% of our life (1 HP) kills it instantly. It seems to be a common thing in minion builds(?), that sacrificing count towards as killed by enemies.

Well, I don't think it's gonna be any better, but maybe for the sake of freezing if you aren't freezing otherwise. I like Tempest Flurry's gliding mechanism with attribute stacking fast moving/attacking.
Snoo, how do you get so much spirit? The gear on the maxroll doesnt show any
The body armor gives a huge amount with the monk ascendancy.
How the hell did you remove the quarter staff strike so you can have a different skill in its place? 😮💨
Well especially now after most recently video, power charges are super easy to acquire. And speed is so fast siphon strike isn't really needed as a gap closer anymore either.
what about blink? After trying it, it's so hard to play w/o it since the maps are so big
you can use blink if you want.
