I will forever miss Opira Moris Kato..at the time of his death we were working together at (MAAC) Museum of Acoli Art and Culture. (HEP) Heritage Education Program out reach. He was a great, creative Cultural Resource Person.
I used to listen to his songs on Mega fm and took it for granted. I am ın Turkey for 5 years now and bumped on his songs again on you tube and I can now feel the value in his song. I never even bothered to fınd out who was by then and, now trying to look into his profile, all I find is that he past away. Feeling so sad. May his soul rest in peace. Scandal Studios, thanks alot for the great job done.
I used to listen to his songs when I was young and living in IDP camps in northern. Now I’m 29 and living in Chicago. I need to support this guy’s family. I can see those kids are feeling something in them and that almost makes me cry. I was born and raised in northern Uganda and I understand the pains in his song. RIP baba! I promise I will trace your family and provide the best support that I can! Thank you ❤! This song means a lot 😢
This song is telling us that we the ACOLI pass through difficult times of war and other. The Acoli children should concentrate on education for a better life. Our father .OPIRA MORISE KATO. RIP
