I walked this route last year because I wanted to check out that shopping area under the tracks. Very interesting and it lead me to the Ars Sports store on the left at 10:48 which is my fave place for buying running and outdoor gear.
Although following the tracks is a slightly closer route, I think it's more interesting to go up Chuo-doori and then cut across to Ameyoko somewhere between suehirocho and ueno-hirokoji.
What is the deal with the go-karts @ 5:50? I've seen them in other Tokyo street videos and even on the Shibuya Scramble webcam. They are always in a group of 5 or 6. Are they part of some sort of advertising? Thank you for your "Wandering" videos. I always am happy to see a new one in my subscribed list.
I think they are trying to profit off Nintendos Mario Kart brand, but they are unlicensed by Nintendo akihabara.maricar.com/en/akihabara.html I believe Nintendo has a lawsuit against them: japantoday.com/category/national/nintendo-files-suit-against-go-kart-company-maricar Looks like fun though. Id like the Course that went across the rainbow bridge.

Well, if I were recommending a walking tour, I'd say as I said. Just for myself I also usually take Chuo all the way.

Thank you for the links, yamaha893. That explains it.
Here I was relaxing to some quiet walking, then suddenly: a strange cut. Next thing I knew: Mariocart! Pretty silly.
Hmmm, I wan to live there.
15:16 Americans probably would lose their shit about kids wandering unsupervised, lol
