I feel so profoundly sad because as you both said, his smile lights up the room, that smile can put a smile on your face (at least for me) but in the later years of his life, that beautiful smile became diminished! His legacy will live forever❤

This came out in 1979, so Janet was 13 at the time and Randy was a few yrs older...he had been playing bongo"s as an unofficial member of Jackson 5 since he was about 10 or 12, then when they left Motown he took Jermaines place as a member of The Jacksons. So he wouldve been about 17 or so. I think you maybe have a couple stories mixed up tho. When they lived in Indiana still and b4 Michael joined the group.. his mum had heard musical talent just in him crying in KEY! Then as a toddler they had a rickidy old washer that made a crrtain beat as it ran, and Mchael would dance to the sound of that beat. So she really encouraged the music in all the kids and made bongo drums for Michael and probably the others when little, out of em0ty quaker oat barrels and would join them together with a stick.. anyway, he would play those along when his brothers were practicing...when he was good enough, and Joseph saw his talent, he got into the group and became lead singer...at 5! 😂 Anyway, Randy then did the same thing, learning on the same type of bongos...by the tine he was old enough they could afford real ones tho, they were moving to LA...then Janet did the same...theyd play songs on anything and everything. Randy i think, became one of the better musicians cos he was always waitingnin the sidelines for his turn..learnt piano, drums, guitar etc. So, some old recordings may have been found and used or it was them in the studio when older, because there are parts in PYT that is actually sped up, but is Janet singing along. In this clip is 1 other hidden thing though. When 3 Michaels come on screen. This was 1979..they didnt have technology to do that yet...they could do a split screen to produce a 2nd Michael but not a 3rd...so they got either Randy or Marlon to dress the same and play the part...and sync it all up, i think the 1 on the left is the fraudulent Michael, but not positive.
