I’m pile 3 and I’ve already mentioned escaping my narcissistic, abusive ex in a comment on a different video. Three days after he left. I don’t love him anymore, I hate him more than I’ve ever hated anyone but for some reason, it still hurts. My dreams of a happy future with a perfect prince were dashed. I lost who I thought was my prince even though he was a monster that kept me under his spell. I’m starting to laugh again but I still cry when I think about him and part of me still misses the good times even though he made me cry more often than not. Why did I keep him around? The good energy he initially lured me in with. He used it to keep me tethered to him which made crushing me easier. I want to know how to produce that energy for myself so I can live without him and never have to depend on him or anyone else again but at the same time: Part of me feels guilty and selfish.
