I really enjoyed watching this. I think the fact that this was conducted for such a small show, as you mentioned, ended up working in its favor...unlike many higher profile interviews I've seen with Joni over the years, here the interviewer showed genuine interest and knowledge in her work, and his unassuming approach obviously put Joni at ease and allowed her to let her guard down and enjoy the process more than she sometimes does. Thank you for sharing it!
This whole interview is a treasure, thanks so much for sharing it. I'm very grateful to the interviewer for giving her space to talk freely and develop thoughts fully without any interruption. Also, as an admirer of Joni's painting, it was a thrill to see her showing and talking about her art.
Valioso material acerca de una artista de gran talento y cuya obra musical merece ser reivindicada y disfrutada a pleno. ¡Grande, Joni Mitchell! #VideotecaMusical #MúsicaQuePerdura #MusicThatLasts
Wish the interviewer hadn't kept interjecting. She is so worth listening to, freely associating, commenting on her paintings, telling stories, thinking aloud --- another full dimension of her genius. What a human treasure. There should be videos of her just talking about her paintings.
We all feel like she's our friend now.
Seriously, this is her BEST interview!
She is so speaking truth.
Makes me love her more then ever!
