Jim Andron here, just wanted to thank all of you for your kind words. As I'm not writing much anymore, it's nice to know that something i did twenty five years ago had a positive effect on folks. I do have the original mixes, and I'm working with some guys to figure out a way to release it. hopefully, we'll get there.

@@DalekEnclave123 Thank You. I've just been informed by Chris Porter that there IS a vinyl release; a hand-numbered limited edition no less. I know nothing about it, I wasn't contacted. If you happen to get one, any information you can give me about who did this would be appreciated.

This gives me some mad vibes of mid 90's low budget action/romantic drama movie featuring Pamela Anderson and [insert random muscular guy with pony tail].
Pamela plays a ranger, living by herself in Yosemite National Park, raised by a single father who died from being mauled by a bear when Pamela was just a teen. One day while out checking on a family of deer, she comes across a wounded man (pony tail guy), fleeing from a police squad. His sexy, part italian look and dire situation brings Pam to help him, taking him back to her cabin. There they have some steaming 90's sex to some cheesy smooth saxophone music. I'm sorta out of inspiration now, the important thing was the 90's saxophone sex. I guess the corrupt california police turns out to be the ones who killed Pams father, framing the bear. Pam probably feeds the chief officer to another bear and cracks some corny line about how she couldn't BEAR to watch the upcoming mauling, before turning away and walking towards the sunset.
    Thank you for your time.

Not your typical 90's game OST. But definitely a buried and forgotten gem. Thanks for sharing it!

This is Jim Andron. Inasmuch as no one contacted me, or asked my permission, to release this on vinyl (or in any other form), I am VERY curious about it: who released it, how they got decent copies (I have the masters), etc. Any information would be appreciated.

    "Is this Vaporwave?"
This is called Smooth Jazz/New Age Music. What you think of as "Vaporwave" is just music that has sampled those genres. This is literally what music would sound like during the 1980s-early 1990s.

3 years later, and in June 2022, the original soundtrack got rereleased on Soundcloud by Jim himself. (keyword: original - as in, the original high-quality versions of the soundtrack before being compressed to fit on the CDI release, and pitch-corrected as well)
