THis week is ultra league and great league summer cup. Summer cup is a limited meta. In this video we go over the Best Summer Cup Teams.
Hey Dan! I played you last night in Summer Cup with your Diggersby team against my double dragon team. It was really cool to not only play someone who has taught me the game over the past year but to win against my RUclips teacher was even more special. I hope to battle against you again soon! Keep up the great work with all of the videos. You've been killing it lately!
Appreciate the support and GG. I couldn't quite overcome the turtonator in the back. You will definitely be making that video when I showcase (likely next week).
did u lead with alolan exeggutor? cause i faced a double dragon with tortunator today xD
Dan, 1. Thank you for shoutcasting this. I like how you say the pokemon and do some play by play so I can put this video in the background like baseball. When you do user submitted videos, please keep up this format. Then I can watch/focus when you do a replay or break down a move. 2. I'm cleaning out my storage, and I need that list of best/worst starter pokemon.
I cant believe that skeledirge threw disarming voice instead of shadow ball on gatr
I hope you take this as a compliment: I've come to enjoy your commentary on others' battles more than your own self-critques. I think it's more enjoyable to watch something with you so we can react together than to just have you show us something you've already seen and know the outcome of
“Man caves are not a thing when you’re a dad of young kids” hahaha as a fellow dad of young kids I laughed so hard to that 😂
I don’t know man a lot of my friends with several small kids got one
Cave is for recording.....doh!!
Damn I thought that was a Dad's escape
I'm not a Father yet so I could take some pointers from fellow Trainers that are Active Fathers
Thanks for posting the video Dan.
I do recall there being a meme in the drive that didn't make it in the video 🧐
Shadow Typhlosion is dangerous. Wow.
Why would Psycho Cut be neutral? Sure that’s resisted also?
he most likely confused def deo with medi that’s fighting/psychic. a psychic type with counter was medi for a long time. just a brain fart
Really wish that Feraligatr was shadow. It'd be so cool to have double shadow starters in the back with a bulky lead
Another great video, i'm running Goodra, Tapu Fini and Gliscor in UL is this a decent team. Been using Goodra in the lead, anything you would change?
Tapu fini is a paper tiger imo any other water would be stronger than tapu. Swampert or empoleon or even gyrados
Your weak to sandslash lead which there are a few. Tapu lead for that team would be better. Goo and gliscor cover grass and electric. Registeel lead will be tricky.
@@MimicdadPOGO Thanks guys I have struggled with regi and a few other. I have Swampert, Tapu feels much better.
Giratina also covers the grass, poison, and electric.
@@hazewilliams2117 really want to add him, newish player though so will need to wait.
can typlosion learn thunder punch by using the regular charge TMs or nah?
Daddy Dan knows best 👌
Imagine if they gave def deoxys shadow ball😂 that would be so meta shifting
Cresselia counter confirmed OP 😂
Or someone like me I have plenty and plenty of great league Pokémon but barely any ultra league just because how expensive just to build one pokemon in ultra is. This is my 3rd season so haven’t had time to really put lots of stardust into ultra
I love ultra league !
I want to send in my battles but idk if I want Dan to roast me 😂
Hey Dan. I got some battles here I want send over to you if you want to use. Where should I sent them to?
Hey GG this morning. I laughed so hard. After I farmed you down I literally said , OK No diggersby and Boom. HAHA.
Words are hard
I don’t get it, gbl can be sooo rewarding and fun to play, and in the other hand it can be sooo heavy punishing and making you ask your hole beeing
I played 8:17 today. No matter what you play the opponent has the right answer...PvP is more frustrating then it makes fun. I dont no why i play every season this shit. Its a luck based System. Good lead, you can play. Bad lead, you can top left. In the Morning i lost 6 games in a row. Every Lead and switch was against me. And Tapu fine is garbage. It looses to near everybody. Youre a fairy and loose against fighters etc.
Change the order of your team. I'll save your sanity😂
Pokedaxi said it the best. Only 20 % of matches will be a true hard loss the rest. Even if its a bad lead or a hiccup in back you have a chance to manipulate the tide of battle and create a win. You just have to focus on counting. And read your opponents teams the best you can.
@@ZachBurns-gu9zk Its more then 20% And if youre hard contered then counting makes no Sense, when you will loose the switch in all shield Szenarios.
If you lose lead, the meta of that day (heck hour) is countering whatever you are using. Also, Are you soft losing or committing to winning switch
Must be a skill issue then because i can manage to squirm out if quite a few bad lead situations. Maybe you need to practice when to stay in with a bad lead and let it go down so you can retain energy and switch advantage. You have to think fluidly and act quickly. Trust me. Im a shitty battler but the more i practice the more i come out on top of shitty matchups
Those thunder punches come fast
Hey
Great league is boring. Do more ultra league videos 👍
Your Avatar is really Hot can u do a tutorial for it
Togekiss players must be punished at all costs
Tap tap Tapi-kiss
Legit don’t think I’ve seen an ultra league Togekiss since I was sub 2000 elo
But yes, charmers must be put in their place
Ok, seriously, why do you act like we choose or would even know when we're going to "CMP tie"? How tf would we know exactly when the other player is going to press the button?
Firstly, as you probably know Pokémon with higher attack move first if a CMP tie is reached. If you’re keeping track of your opponents energy you should always know how much energy they have. If you CMP tie, you/your opponent wont get an extra fast move off as either of you are preparing a charge move.
From there it becomes a game of “are they going to throw when they get the move” or “are they going to overcharge and avoid the CMP”
This is how people are good at catching moves on the switch, they know how much energy the opponent is at and have a good idea of when they’re going to throw that charge move to either catch it or CMP tie on it
