bluejay desync probably, recently became aware of this on an 8bit esc with bluejay.
the motor have sand on them hence the grinding noise.

Hmm, what's that setting that when you don't raise your throttle high enough the quad disarms itself in midflight...can't find that video searching for it. I might be having that problem.
Check the basics first. I know the tune is messed up or there’s noise but also check the Xt60 pins and solder joints for the main power lead. I’ve had pre-soldered Xt60 leads with cold joints that would pass current but would break connection under high load.
