Enjoy it. There’s no room for anything else in our trucks other than scannables. Yesterday I had 114 SPRs and 147 parcels. 2hr parcel run in the morning, then go back, case, then load the rest. People in Hawaii don’t shop in stores anymore, only on Amazon! DPS was light, but had EDDM so that sucked. Our CCAs and OTDLs work 12-16hrs daily. Getting forced off assignment is normal.
Amazon been delivering small packages, more than likely because it saves them money. Big packages may take five minutes to deliver. park truck, turn wheel, e brake, unbuckle, open door, roll up window, get out, lock door, 30 seconds gone. Walk to back of truck, open gate, grab your big package, close gate, 30 seconds gone. Walking up to resident with big package and possible stairs and dropping off package 1 min to 1 min and a half gone. Walking back to truck, unlock door, open door, get in, close door, roll down window, turn on truck, remove e brake, steer towards road, and drive 1 min to min and a half gone. With heavier and bigger packages you may need to add more time to deliver safely which should add up to 5 mins. Amazon delivering small packages may take to 1 to 2 mins to deliver, and we all know they are not safe on how they deliver, you would see them hope out while their truck running with door open with tons of small packages on the dash.
That's exactly right! You got the timing perfect.. Yep, I watch Amazon deliver on my route and they don't even turn off the truck.. It's crazy to me.. I could steal their truck lol.. I've seen them throw packages on my route and it makes me so mad bc it makes us look bad.
I really want to drive one these one day
Omg where are your bracelets from, Im in love with them!

Good job staying positive even tho you downgraded, I’m always dumbfounded that the post office hasn’t gotten ridden in LLV’s or at least added a/c’s
