I am a long time customer of Lost Creek. Matt and Jason are awesome to work with. They helped me build my shop on a budget. Thanks Mr. Pete for doing this video.
Well I made a real mess out of myself watching this one Mr Pete.. crying, drooling, rubbernecking.. had to punch the address in on the GPS to. Looks like a 3-1/2 hour drive from my house. That’s certainly doable ! Surface grinder, tool cutter grinder, dividing head parts, milling machine tooling all stuff I desperately need/want just sitting there waiting for me ! Yes Mr Pete, really truly enjoyed watching this one. Couldn’t take my eyes off the screen. So neat. And I’m humbled by the fact that they are saving all this great tooling and equipment from the scrapers! I’ll be checking in with lost creek machine before my next purchase for sure. And I’ll be sure to tell them Mr Pete sent me. Thank you sir 🙏
The item you asked if anyone knew what it was with the triangle shape stones? A vibratory de-burring machine. Affectionately known, where I used to work, as a “gravel girty ”. We had them all over the shop. Great tour. Amazing how everything is so well organized.
Incredible, I feel like you can smell the oil from the machines. I wonder how many shops like this are left. Just Amazing machines. Thanks again MR PETE. HOPE YOU AND YOUR FAMILY ARE WELL. A+
Loved this video, enjoyed every minute of it. I could spend several hours in there looking and buying tools. I saw several items that I can use in your video I'm going to their website and checking them out! Thanks Mr Pete, keep up the great work!!!
I enjoyed this infomercial. I'm grateful to both Lost Creek Machine and you, Lyle for this work. Part of me reflects that we are looking at a past that is vanishing. Oh, don't get me wrong, there will always be machinists, but they'll be working on additive equipment instead of subtracting. Ah ... at least there will be less swarf. Thank Lyle. But if you go to another estate auction and buy more crap, I swear I'll get to Streator and make you return ALL of it!
What a great selection of small and large tools I'm surprised that a Warner & Swazey was not pictured. We have one last Mom & Pop machine tool business in San Diego and i try to use them exclusively. Great job on the photo tour.
Hi Mr Pete . I fell asleep with you tube on around 12:30 last night and i woke around 3:00 AM and watched a short video and after it was this Lost Creek and i started watching it. Man you are lucky to live close to Lost Kreek sales i would be in there a couple times a month like when the dollar pick your part junk yards opened . I paid my dollar every weekend and walked around looking at new trucks and cars that came in . Great video Thanks for having us along . JM
Well I see you had a fun day. Glad to see you getting out. I was having fun with you wanting many things. Thank you for taking the time to bring us along. God bless.
Because of your videos, Mr. Pete, I've bought a couple different items from Lost Creek. They are very nice guys and I am very happy with the business they do. I live in Ohio and hope to visit their place this summer.
Thank you Lyle, in laying back in bed here in Western Australia at 10pm living vicariously through your eyes wishing I could afford the shipping and handling to get them here, oh well one Powerball (lotto ticket win) it would be nice Thankyou once again for a wonderful video Tony from Western Australia 🇦🇺
Great tour MrPete, wish I had known about that Clausing lathe before it sold, I might have been tempted! I could spend the whole day there, as well as my bank account.
Hey Mr Pete...that Rotex milling machine looks like it is a vertical and horizontal mill...pretty interesting. They have something for everyone. Great video sir!!
Fantastic tour I did not realize they had all that inventory. I'm on their email list and every time i see something of interest it says Sold on it. Thanks for the video.
Hi Mr Pete, what a great shame that some of that will likely never see a good home. No doubt there are many more similar collections around and about. Keep safe.
Nice tour Mr. Pete. I am relieved that if there was any woodworking machines you did not include them in the tour. I'd hate to see something that I don't need but I would want.
That was fun! DARN! I wish that I lived near such a place. NH is a waste land for such stuff. The last place like it went belly up about 1-1/2 years ago. They were tossing Bridgeports and other stuff into the dumpsters. I would have grabbed one but we had no way to move it or store it. It was a bad time for us and only marginally better now. Thank you for sharing with us sir!
Thanks Mr. Pete. I lived a stones throw from there for 18 years and never knew that was in there. duh...................... And now I live a stones throw from you! Small small world.
I was kid once and the Lone Ranger was the man ... then cut to commercial Lone Ranger doing commercials for airplanes or lavish vacations . Mr. Pete I couldn't afford it then and I cant afford it now love ya
I reckon I could spend a day looking around that place! if only I had the room, the time left and of course the money! Great tour, I bet the car was a bit heavier on the way home! cheers, Dave.
Lyle, thanks for going back to that Unimat at the end. Some rather interesting engineering someone did on the lift mechanism. Probably makes it a bit more rigid as well. Thanks for the tour!
Too many "I wants". Glad they are a long distance from me, or I'd be there once a week buying something! You flew by several things that caught me interests. I know it takes time to video. Regardless, I was glued to the screen the entire video! Thanks for sharing, Ken
You are a great American man mr. pete, thank you for this tour, have you ever said where you have worked in your life ? shop teacher but did you ever work in industry ? Like to know how much for the longest ever seen calipers ?
As I have watched your video, I've said "I want one of those" so many times I have far exceeded my bank account. I just have to stop watching this type of video. Thanks non-the less for the fine video
Good way to pass time on s cold winters day! My buddy Steve at Bales Machine Shop, said it a recent txt to me, that he found a company with more stuff than I have,,,, Lost Creek was the end of his txt,,, hehe!
When you buy a mill or lathe from them how much do they go over it & make sure it works or doesnt need repairs or parts replaced? Do they come with any sort of guarantee that its working or will work for 3 months, 6 months or what do you get? Are they given any sort of tune up? That place looks like heaven. Love this video & appreciate what you do on RUclips.
When I lived up in NJ 25 years ago, there were 2 similar places I used to hit at least twice a year. One was much larger and up near Newark, the other was in south Jersey, kind of close to Philly. Don't remember the names. I'm pretty sure the one in south Jersey is gone. 20 years ago I moved to Georgia, up in the mountains and to my sorrow I haven't been able to find anything like this anywhere. The difference? PLENTY of manufacturing in NJ back in the day, not much in Georgia.

👍👍👍👍
Fantastic place...A real "Toys R Us" for old machinists!!!!!!! Thanks Lyle...
WOW! You are so lucky to have a place like that nearby. It appears if you need it, they have it or it can't be found. Thanks for sharing Lost Creek.
The item you asked if anyone knew what it was with the triangle shape stones? A vibratory de-burring machine. Affectionately known, where I used to work, as a “gravel girty ”. We had them all over the shop. Great tour. Amazing how everything is so well organized.
Thank you Mr Pete. I enjoyed every minute of that. If I had surplus money, I would be out your way doing a little shopping.
I loved your tour of Lost Creek's warehouse. Some of those would have gone with me. If I only had a place to put them.
Thnx Mr.Pete.
Incredible, I feel like you can smell the oil from the machines. I wonder how many shops like this are left. Just Amazing machines. Thanks again MR PETE. HOPE YOU AND YOUR FAMILY ARE WELL. A+
Yes there were some items there that made my mouth water
Looks like Lost Creek Machine has almost as much stuff as you do Mr. Pete. Thanks for the tour. I wish they were closer.
Loved this video, enjoyed every minute of it. I could spend several hours in there looking and buying tools. I saw several items that I can use in your video I'm going to their website and checking them out! Thanks Mr Pete, keep up the great work!!!
