Hi Doctor, would it be possible to do more of a pull? Or would you really discourage that?
If one sees dimples from the COG threads, then that’s not good, right?

The barbs or cogs on the threads will lodge on the ptotic soft tissues, and grasps those saggy fatty tissues to reposition and hold/support/act like structural tissue support , like suspension threads or tension threads .
I discourage too much pull especially those with too much tissue laxity , as they cause rippling , or may lead to indentations or inward pull of skin by the grasping cog on the subcutaneous fat that’s adhered to the skin dermis , leading to dimpling , and will not be aesthetically pleasing or not an acceptable outcome for our clients. Cogs or the barb part on the thick strand starts to get released or disintegrated in 10-12 week’s time (variable ) and is a long time unpleasant outcome . So just do gentle pull, and combine with mono/screw PDO threads to sustain the collagenesis from 12 weeks onwards.
