So lifting. God bless you Revs Andrew and Duane I learnt a better way to be firm with a smile of passion, standing against sexual perversion and all like it. I truly got emboldened, not to be intimidated ( as a widow raising two sons and three daughters). Simply awesome and strengthening!

Kathy on Facebook had a question at (30:50), "How do we righteously stand against the sin *without being hateful?"* Here's the answer: *we need the hate.* We need both, we need love and we need hate. Both need to be focused on the right targets. We love people, and we hate the devil and his works. Ephesians 4:26 says, _"Do not let the sun go down on your anger."_ It says we need to be angry nonstop, endlessly hating the devil. Jesus is hateful, nonstop, and we are His followers. We can't minister the grace of God without hate. We hate sickness and every other work of the enemy. We hate because we love. Love without hate is selfish and destructive. The world argues that being hateful is somehow bad or wrong. That is a demonic lie. God has commanded us to be hateful. Praise God for the hate! Of course, for the hatefulness against evil to work in real situations, we need revelation of God's love. Carrie Pickett has good teaching on that. God bless!
Brianna, thank you for sharing your post with us! We'd love to share with you some of Andrew's commentary that has the same perspective. Here are his notes on Prov. 8:13 below: Proverbs 8:13 (KJV) 13 The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate. Note on Prov. 8:13: "Hate is a godly characteristic if it isn’t directed at people. God gave us the capacity to hate. We are commanded to hate (Psalms 97:10, Amos 5:15, and Romans 12:9). Not hating evil gives place to the devil (Ephesians 4:26-27). We should hate the sin but love the sinner. The first part of this verse tells us to hate evil. Then the second part of this verse lists some of the evil we are to hate. Pride and arrogance are evil. The “evil way” is speaking of any way of acting that is contrary to God’s Word. And the “froward mouth” is speaking of lying (see my note at Proverbs 8:8). See Proverbs 4:24, 6:12, and 10:31. This is similar to Proverbs 6:16-19. In both instances, pride is the first thing listed that the Lord hates (James 4:6 and 1 Peter 5:5). Notice that pride and arrogance are listed separately. All arrogance is pride, but not all pride is arrogant. Low self-esteem is pride (see my notes at Proverbs 13:10 and Numbers 12:3). Psalms 36:1 says, 'The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.'" - Andrew Wommack's Living Commentary We hope that you enjoyed these notes! I am looking for a teaching by Andrew Wommack on domestic violence in Christian marriages. I pray he speaks on this. The doctrine of biblical submission by wives to husbands has given many husbands the excuse to psychologically damage their wives under the cloak of that same doctrine. In the Philippines, psychological abuse and domestic violence are punishable by law.

Bill, thank you for your question! We'd love to provide Andrew's commentary on this scripture. You can read his notes below: John 6:37 (KJV) 37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. Note on John 6:37: "Some Calvinist will try to use this verse to preach an extreme predestination message (see my note at Romans 8:29). But Jesus said whoever believed on Him would have everlasting life (John 3:16). The Holy Spirit draws everyone (John 6:44 and 1 Timothy 2:4), but not everyone responds positively (Matthew 22:14 and 23:37). When Jesus said “And him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out,” the Greek phrase that was translated “in no wise” is “OU ME.” This is a double negative that strengthens the denial. It was translated “by any (no) means...never, no (at all), in no case (wise)” (Strong’s Concordance). The Amplified Bible says, 'All whom My Father gives (entrusts) to Me will come to Me; and the one who comes to Me I will most certainly not cast out [I will never, no never, reject one of them who comes to Me].'" - Andrew Wommack's Living Commentary Would you like to read more commentary by Andrew? So I’m 23 minutes in and I haven’t heard any biblical evidence backing up the claims being made about homosexual marriage. Just a bunch of opinions. I’ll keep listening, hoping to hear something compelling.
Well, I finished it. Unfortunately, nothing was presented straight from the word that leads me to believe what is being claimed is true. It was 46minutes of pure conjecture, which is truly unfortunate because there are people seeking real answers. I have to say that the answer of not allowing your son or daughters partner to be welcomed into your home is beyond understanding. I know Duane conceded to allow them to come to the home as a chance to evangelize to them but still, the overall message was to shun them. What kind of parent do you want to be? What kind of example of Gods love is that? Right or wrong - that is your child! Love them! It’s that simple. You don’t have to agree with them. Leave that to God. Shameful message. I finished it feeling disappointed.
@@shawnj.o.9887 Romans 1:26-27 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error. Read Romans 1:18-32
