The majority of us were quite shocked when we learned that Amber would play Mera. We were expecting to see Emilia Clarke because she is an outstanding actress and has GREAT chemistry with Jason (unlike some others). I pray they take Emilia for Aquaman 2 and give us something beautiful with this couple!

Unfortunately they have already filmed the second movie with her in it. Her scenes were cut short. She tried to blame Johnny Depp and the trial for it, but WB said it was lack of chemistry between her and Jason. Now there are rumours that WB are waiting to see how the trial ends and they may completely cut her from the movie. I doubt it, but I hope so 🤞🏼
After seeing this movie, I believe the producer was actually right. There really isn't any real "chemistry" with these two. And I honestly tried looking at it as if they might be wrong, but I didn't see that magic or spark. It was not like the feeling I got from Game of Thrones between Jason M and Emilia C. I don't know if it's because Emilia is a more seasoned actor than Heard, or they're just different people?! Anyway, just my thoughts. (I only originally watched it for Jason Mamoa anyway because he's such a hunka! LOL)

A whole lot of us fell in love with Jason. There were armies of Moms who took their kids to see the movie. Yeah, it was just for the kids. Wink, wink.
I love this couple and I loved the character Mera and when I watched it for the first time I thought the actress was perfect for the role. But after all she has done to Johnny it's just terrible

Let's hope she is in fact replaced if there is a sequel. If people want Jason Mamoa to still have a connection with the actress playing Mera, why don't we go with his old cast mate from Game of Thrones? I believe her name was Amelia Clark... I think. They have both said in interviews that they are very comfortable around each other.
By the way, there is a petition to replace Amber Heard from the sequel online. Be sure to add your name to that list as the more people who object the better chance we have of getting rid of what is legitimately a hot bag of garbage. 😂

Its beautiful i think she's beautiful how judgemental so many can be sadly . His a beautiful that sword i have seen before in a dream . I was actually going to try draw it up how i saw it but its pretty close to what the vision was. Just few little things slightly different but yeah beautiful .
Even before this whole johnny depp vs amber turd trial,its undeniably visible that this two doesnt have chemistry..just compare jason's demeanor towards amber and emilia clarke..hes always distant to ms turd but when it comes to emilia hes so attentive and sweet but not in a romantic way.they both said that they are like besties.

Am I the only person who’s watching this and saying well AH’s performances in the court are much better than her acting in Aquaman ?
I honestly found her crying in court unwatchable.... infact she don't look that great either after seeing Kate moss at 50 look that goregeous... wondering what magic she got to have Depp n musk at d same time...

So many I’ve seen say they never knew about AH til JD and her got together but I remember her from Never Back Down which was the first movie I ever saw her in and I LOVED her and her acting and have ever since! I LOVE Drive Angry with her and Nicolas Cage, she killed that role! And I loved her so much in Aquaman as well but now I just don’t know if I can watch her anymore… well I’ll always watch Aquaman to see my future husband Jason but man Drive Angry is one of my most fave movies ever :/ She ruined herself… it’s really sad.
