I use Audacity to mix the song track with the cover track, then just use windows movie maker to add the video. There are better ways, I know... but too lazy :P

Were the frets level on this bass when you bought it? I will be ordering this after christmas time and was wondering if they originally come with the frets being level, looking at yours your action is LOW and doesn't buzz. Am I correct about this?
I paid 400 for this bass new about 10 years ago, and at that price point I don't know if they level the frets. Having said that, this bass has fantastic build quality for the price and I've never had fret buzz that I couldn't fix with a simple action adjustment. I've been complemented a few times on the tone of this bass, so it's definitely a funky looking but underrated bass.
@@JesseJamesGill I'm gonna order it when Yamaha get back to me with their price matching offer, I am pretty sure that it will right without having to deal with a shady cowboy "Luthier". Yamahas sales guy on the website said if it isn't playible I can send it back within 14 days so I can get a refund, I don't want to do that, but if it HAS to be done then I will.

I got it at a Best Buy, actually. It was priced around $400 on sale. I think these are actually discontinued now however. Damn nice for the price.

are you tuned in 430 or 440? We used to do sevendust covers and the guys I thought were tuned in 430. Such a ballsy sound.
You know, I can't remember. I think most of the covers I did were standard tuning, but some could have been a half step down (5th string in Bb).

And yes, I run my action as low as I can and don't have any buzzing.
