Oh my gosh! This is what I keep telling my clients. The SOP needs to be separate so that it can be meticulously filled with all the what-why-who-when-and-hows. It's meant to be a guide to ease people in your project/task routine. Subtasks are your big pieces of "here's what you need to get done." Checklists are the bite-sized elements leading to the completion of your subtask... like, "Here are the steps to actually complete this."
