So happy you found Asterism, please, please, find their song DAWN, it’s AMAZING. The guitarist Halca wrote it when she was just 14 . You will be AMAZED ✌️🇦🇺🤘
I got to see Asterism when i was in Japan last April and they are mind blowing. They are also really nice people. I got to speak with them for a few minutes using Google Translate on my phone as I was standing at the exit and they came out and stood nest to me.
"she's really good", yes, yes she is. As mentioned she was 16 here and this is an original song, one of many she wrote between the ages of 11 and 15. She is truly exceptional even among all the great Japanese female guitarists. This is not the greatest video because you can't see Haruka's hands a lot of the time but this was a great performance. Try Blaze from this same performance or Dawn or Church from their second full album. This is Haruka's only project and they have been together for 10 years now.
Can't go wrong with Asterism. The guitarist, Haruka, is 4' 8" and currently in her early 20s. As you've seen, she's an absolute beast and the bass guitarist, Miyu, is right there with her in terms of skill. Mio, the drummer, is the oldest of the three and is Miyu's older brother. They played at Babymetal's Fox Fest backing up a group called Metalverse is what is, as of right now, the last we've heard of them, but they were like a little sister group to Babymetal.
Getting to hear Hal-ca and Asterism is about as good of a 25th Day Christmas Present you could have asked for. You're probably old enough to be wise to the fact that _No matter how good you are_ at an instrument, there is a 10 yo Japanese girl who can play rings around you. Hal-ca is certainly one of those, just like Lisa-X from Koiai. Merry Christmas, Mike! 🌨☃🎅🛷🎄🎁
Asterism has been together as a band with the same three members since they first met and formed in 2014 when Hal-ca was the ripe old age of 12 ! Miyu was 13 and his big brother the drummer Mio was positively a geriatric at 15 . Hal-ca is 22 now - just think how good she'll be when she grows up 😉 - 4'8" of guitar monster it really is scary for us mere mortals . The only slightly unfortunate thing is that most of the available live videos are fancy shot and some are really poor quality BUT the studio sessions and some videos from their time in Paris at the Japan Expo earlier this year ( just search Asterism Live Paris ) are professionally shot and worth checking out for the best experience - ENJOY !
I knew you'd like Asterism with the top tier guitarist Hal-ca, a prodigy has been used to describe her. You caught the 7 string bass Miyu plays. Recommend songs: Stars (Live in Studio) Dawn 360 Battle (you can move around 360 degrees on this video using the mouse) Church (Live in studio) Merry Christmas Mike and Rockin' New Year
Well, as for me, you saved (one of) the best for last. Hal-Ca is like all of the guitar heros from the past you mentioned reincarnated into a tiny little 1,45 m girl from Japan. She was 16 when this was recorded, just turned 22 on Nov. 23. A force to be reckoned with. Try "Dawn", "Church" or "Gunfire".
Love _Light in the Darkness,_ but it's not really very complicated or technically challenging by their standards. The song you should check out is _Dawn,_ which I would consider her magnum opus. And this is the performance to react to, even though it's shot on a mobile phone: ruclips.net/video/buQPvINJcA0/видео.htmlsi=hFn4d-YxMzbbHKgB
👍Awesomely awesome instrumentals🔥🔥🔥. I really enjoyed these 25 days. I got to see a lot of the bands I have seen mentioned in the comments over the years. Thank you for your hard work and great reactions. 🖖❤ BABYMETAL - Brand New Day feat. Tim Henson and Scott LePage from @Polyphia (OFFICIAL Live MV)
★ASTERISM will never surpass their past glory unless they whip up a "wish u were here" 2 offset their 'dark side of the moon'☆ edit: a jazz fusion project may just do the trick🤞
This show didn’t run very late, at this time they all had homework to finish before school the next day.🤯💪🏻🤘🏻

When Buckethead makes a guest appearance on your first album and two of your tracks are produced by Bootsie Collins, you are way above good.
