Alex, serious question...
I don't see much talk about battery life with Chess clocks. The manual for my DGT NA states that the batteries can last for years. Based on the computing power (or lack thereof) used in the typical Chess clock, that makes sense, since a single AA battery can run an analog wall clock (with moving second hand) for well over a year. What's been your experience?
As an aside, in using my first Chess clock, it struck me how dated these interfaces are. I assume this is because they're such low volume products that R&D just isn't a priority. Again, just wondering what your thoughts are.

Unfortunatly, no. For that you need a DGT3000 or the older DGT XL

I just bought the North American for about $40 US, mainly because of the color.
