Beautifully done!
Wow that video presentation was incredible!! I liked how they used period figures for the animation. Very cool! Would never have seen that without going to the museum!
Oh yes, the presentation was awesome! You can have a very good time in the Vikings museum.
I loved the video that starts at 9.30. Especially the soft music in it. I visited in 2017 December. The video and the music is still the same in 2019. Thanks for recording this video.
You are welcome. For me it was the same extraordinary experience like you had. Did you also visit the Polar Ship Fram Museum in Oslo?
Thanks for this video I was really curious about this museum
I am glad that you like this video. What is your favorite museum at the moment?
i would love to be there. greetings from Cologne
The viking ship museum and Oslo itself are amazing places. I keep my fingers crossed that you will make it there! This summer I also visited Cologne. I loved the cathedral and the promenade at the river Rhein. You can find a nice video about that trip on my channel as well.
Vikings S06E11 - Farewell Bjorn Ironside!
I love the Vikings tv series! Have you already been to the Viking ship museum in Oslo?
@@KaimarkLifestyle Nope. Hopefully soon :)
This is way bigger than the Roskilde Viking Ship Museum in Denmark.
I have never been to Denmark so far. Is it different to Norway and Sweden or are similarities between those three countries?
@@KaimarkLifestyle I have been to the southern part of Sweden and Denmark (mainly Copenhagen, Roskilde, and Odense). There is a perceivable similarity between Denmark and southern Sweden, especially because some parts of the country on either side belonged to the opposite country historically. The Danish and Swedish languages developed as a distinct node from eastern Old Norse, while Icelandic, Faroese and Norsk (Norwegian), if I am not wrong here, developed from the western branch or node of Old Norse here.
@@KaimarkLifestyle the landscapes in Norway are quite different from Denmark, which is somewhat less hilly and flatter. Norway, as you will probably know, is characterized by tall, looming mountains capped with snow and fjords.
@@kevinjanghj Thank you very much for your detailed explanations Kevin. I visited already Sweden, Norway and Finland in the past. Denmark will be one of my future destinations for sure. I am looking forward to it.
@@KaimarkLifestyle I have been to Finland, Denmark, Sweden, and Iceland, but feel that I can always spend more time to explore these places. Next destination would be Norway and the Faroe Islands in summer one day, when travel restrictions are lifted.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla brought me here.
Nice, I like that, it is an awesome combination. Have you already been to Norway?
Is it real ship
Yes it is, this museum was just awesome. What museum is your favorite at the moment?
@@KaimarkLifestyle hi iam from India and you know about Indian kings it's so interesting to know about them my favorite museum is in India
Wooden artifact 870 AD.to 980 AD.Viking culture.
The technology of the Viking culture was actually very impressive! A visit of this museum is absolutely worth it.
