Fun fact: Dr. Pleasant is a reference to Donald Pleasant who played Dr. Loomis in the Halloween movies. His speech in this game about how he tried to treat a child but failed, calling the child an incarnation of evil is also a well known quote from the Halloween series

I love the Donald Pleasence reference for Dr Pleasant. I also like how they added elements of Halloween 4 in with the thorn curse and Jamie becoming the new Michael
Surprised the comparison between Michael Myers/ Doctor Loomis and DDDR and Doctor Pleasant was not made.
I like that the idea that the parents aren’t putting rules on what Rex can do because the father blamed himself for the deaths. He thinks the reason he killed was because of the rules his dad made.

I was thinking that too. The dialogue of the characters makes it so confusing. Hip G and Hilary talk to the protagonist as if they're a guy, but Rex talks as if they're a girl. I guess it's one of those things where we just use our imagination and think up our own version of what the protag looks like.

I painted the game's cover. Developer Jordan King told me that he intentionally kept the player's appearance and gender obscure because he wanted the players to put themselves in the role.
