As a gun owner and manager of a brick and mortar Fireworks showroom i can confidently say it’s much harder to buy a gun than it is to buy fireworks. We still sell large 500g repeaters here, laws just vary state to state. Pennsylvania (where i live) has very lax firework laws you only need to show an i.d. Buying a gun however you need to go through a full background check to make sure you are legally allowed to own one, and a firearms transaction record of purchase from a licensed FFL if it is a private sale.
