I am now in my 70s and I had given up on music ,then I found these guys ,pure classic R&B with a bit of Motown thrown in ,love it ,there is hope for us yet!
Just discovered this guy. This is only me second song I've heard from him and I'm in love already. This man and his music and his band is truly amazing. Omg, this is awesome.
@@Christian-ij1fk yes, I do love "Redemption " but its my 2nd favourite. "Mavis" is my favorite. I'm so mad tho, I purchased the red rocks CD and although they did it at the concert, that song is not on the CD.
It's been only about 6 months for me. I can't even believe some of the songs these guys have created. Mind blowing work. I wish I could have seen them live.
I just added Redemption from the Cleveland show at Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica 10/13/21, plus added 13 videos from Express Live in Columbus OH 10/10/21. I was front and center for that show.

To everyone who commented… thanks for watching the videos I’ve shot and posted. I just added 13 new NRNS videos from the show at Express Live in Columbus OH 10/10/21. I was right up front and center about 10 feet from the band. Also added a few songs that I missed but shot at Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica in Cleveland 10/13/21. Enjoy!
Have a great time! There is nothing like a Red Rocks show and even better when it’s NRNS. We will be there at the end of June for two shows, Third Eye Blind and Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue
The Oh my God at the end sums up seeing these guys live, its honestly the most amazing gig ive been at and it was in a small Belfast venue. I cannot see them this coming year which is really dissapointing. But I recommend everyone else does!
One of the many times that I’ve seen them was opening for Robert Plant in Philadelphia 09/19. It was a mismatch and unfair to Plant. The NRNS set was such high energy and had the crowd jumping up and down and singing along, then Plant came out and sucked that energy right out of the crowd.
Personally if you dont get it I would say your hearing needs checked as for church music havent been in a church since jesus left the cross but if the music was like this I might have went back
It’s the depth of the horns that make the Night Sweats special. Can’t listen to NR’s solo stuff. Too narcissistic, and shows that he doesn’t understand what makes this song stand out. He clearly thought it was his voice, and we needed more of that without all those annoying real musicians playing over him.
I slightly agree about the horns making the Night Sweats special but, overall, the band gels to create their unique sound. Nathaniel’s lyrics are powerful and you can accuse many songwriters of being narcissistic. It’s how they express themselves through music and I see no problem with that. Perhaps you should go a little deeper into the meanings of the songs to get a better appreciation of where he’s going.
@@RTTRwTC I listen to songs for the entire experience - sound + lyrics. His message is derivative and dour and his voice isn't pleasant to listen to in a serious song, whatever the message.
@@RTTRwTC I don't. My local progressive radio station overplays his solo stuff. First notes earn a quick "next station." My comment was only in hopes that he will do more "Night Sweats" and less solo.
Nate and Luke having to get up off the floor after their rock-n-roll guitar moment is the best!

Don’t forget about NOLA Jazz

Listen to redemption by him I personally think it’s his best song

I love the "Oh my God!" at the end of the video, shows the pure joy of this awesome performance

I love them!! Wish I could see them live ... maybe soon one day
Catch them when you can, but if possible a smaller venue we saw them in the UK 3 or so years ago, they were stunningly good.
Headed here in August with my life-long friend to celebrate our 50th birthdays! This song will be for us! 🧁

the crowds go crazy at his concerts. I mean older people just going psyco. they have magic

He is awesome but his light show is blinding!😢
Never vive up on music
Like S.O.B. didn't hook me. I need never get Old is my Anthem
That one dude clearly had a fever.......and the only prescription was more tambourine.
Mark gets keyed up during that song
Check out the video of that song that I shot in Columbus OH last month.
Nathaniel, it would be fun to be in a bounce house with!
4:13 drummer breaks his stick
I don't get it, sounds like old church music
You must have gone to a different church than I did. Lol
Personally if you dont get it I would say your hearing needs checked as for church music havent been in a church since jesus left the cross but if the music was like this I might have went back
And there's nothing wrong with that.
And? I didn’t realize old church music sang about drinking and saying S.O.B. LOL
