THRILLED that you've posted these! I remember watching these when they first aired thirty years ago. Used to record Carson, Letterman, and Costas every night. Didn't have enough tapes to be able to keep these, and didn't have two VCR's at the time to make copies. Always regretted it. Got the highlight reel episode they ran a few years after this, but extremely happy to be able to watch the entire thing again. Mel is one of the greatest talk show guests ever, and Costas hosted the perfect format show for him to just tell his stories. Thanks for letting these see the light of day!
two things. The audio has a slight lisp or hiss. Your obnoxious subscribe text on the screen every 3 minutes. How about reducing that to maybe once at the beginning and at the end for maybe 5 seconds.
@@ClevelandLiveMusic you really should consider removing the "subscribe to CLEVELAND LIVE MUSIC" across the bottom, and like James Russell suggested, have it displayed at the beginning/end of each video. Honestly, those are the kinds of things that make me want to NOT subscribe to a channel. People subscribe to things because they genuinely enjoy the content, and want to be notified when something new is released, not just because the screen said to. I feel like a video like this should have significantly more views/likes, and would bet that part of the reason the numbers are so low is that no one wants to pass along what looks like an advertisement. Seriously, do yourself a favor, and reupload this content with the banner ad removed, and display it across the center of the screen at the end of each video.
What is the word Mel says right before he says timbre? At about 59 seconds in? Never mind I found the word somnambulistic is the word he used, I just re-listened to the section.

I was on the road for 25 years so the VCRs were recording the same shows (and more) all week. I'd get home and edit. Haha great lifestyle! Now so glad
