🎉 Another great & informative video by you. I do remember seeing in LA counties outskirts they have a Bert’s Mega Mall which is near similar to that one you filmed, as they sell motorcycles, quad bikes and gardening equipment. However, that one appears to be even bigger accommodating caravans £ motorised homes and so on….! You have just shown us that business is business and where there is customers wanting to buy their products, and at least such companies & dealerships and suppliers know that the West is only hurting itself with a massively backfired sanctions against Russia. Yes, great to see that Russia is still flourishing in such times is testament to Russian government & businesses have rightly learned to adapt to changing times. I bet the sheer stupidity of some western businesses leaving Russian has allowed major entrepreneurs & investment within Russia keeping far more money inside Russia rather than profits heading to western company HQs abroad in USA and UK, EU, etc. Looking forward to more of your videos over the coming winter period!
The only reason why I'm commenting, is because if Russell shows something in Moscow. Everybody oohs and ahhs and raves over...well, fairly normal stuff. ( there are exceptions like the Moscow Metro, which are one of a kind). The US doesn't purchase more snowmobile type products than Russia, they purchase more than the rest of the world combined. They slurp up 40% of the camping Market, they purchase more ATVs, the RV market impact in the US is about equal to the Russian defense budget. So why are people having attacks of the vapors over a small mall in Moscow that shows a limited amount of camping equipment. That's not even possible in the US because of the selection, that's why they have shows in coliseums.
I know caravans and that Karso is seriously impressive.

Hello Russell, I hope you don't mind me asking about another topic, I just saw a popular show telling us people Russian people earn a pittance for monthly wage, I see in your supermarkets shows people spending just like anywhere else, would you know the average wages there in Moskva? I would appreciate any information you could help me with, thanks
What you saw in the show is a blatant deception of the viewers. This is due to completely different systems. On average, the average salary in the country is 700 dollars. In Moscow, it is naturally higher and is about 1200 dollars a month. But this means absolutely nothing. And when a person in the West receives, for example, a salary of 2500 dollars, and at the same time tries to save on everything, he asks the question - how do Russians survive on 700 dollars, if 2500 is not enough for me. And then the most interesting thing begins. 1. Different tax systems and different insurances. In many Western countries, a person receiving a salary must independently pay taxes, social and medical insurance. Different countries have different amounts of taxes and fees. If we take on average that they make up 30 percent, then this is 2500 dollars minus 750. And this amount already turns into 1750 dollars. In Russia, all this is paid by the employer and therefore nothing needs to be paid from these 700 dollars. That is, this is already net income from which nothing needs to be paid to anyone. 2. 2. Further - purchasing power is also different - one dollar in the West and in Russia are completely different and amount to approximately one to three. That is, for one dollar in Russia you can buy three times more than in the West. For example, in Russia all utilities gas, water, heat, garbage disposal, etc. on average amount to 60 - 80 dollars per month for everything together, depending on the region and time of year. For example, one kilowatt of electricity costs 4 cents, and one cubic meter of gas costs 6 cents, a ton of cold water costs 14 cents, and a ton of hot water costs 27 cents. We pay 4 dollars per month for unlimited Internet, and about 7 dollars per month for cellular communications. A liter of the most expensive gasoline costs 60 cents a liter, 10 eggs cost 80-90 cents, and 0.5 kilograms of white bread - 30-40 cents. Potatoes from 30 cents to 60 cents per kilogram. And so on. So it turns out that 700 dollars in Russia easily covers 2500 dollars in the West. And if you consider that in Russia medical care from calling an ambulance to heart surgery is absolutely free, then this generally covers everything else. I repeat once again, all this is connected with different perceptions and different systems. Any person lives and gets used to his system and when he is told about something and given an example from another system, he, out of ignorance, says - "My God, how do they live there, on such meager salaries!" As for how much they earn in Russia - it depends on the person, on their desire. Those who want to will earn very well, but the lazy will be bad everywhere. What is your profession?
@Viktor1964p thank you so much for making it clear, I knew it was BS but I just wanted to be able to challenge it with facts from someone in Russia. I appreciate all the information. 👍
@@brewsterly2927 There are a few more significant additions that I forgot to mention. For example, in some countries, when buying a product, stores indicate the price without tax. And the buyer pays for the product at the checkout and tax is added. And then the cost of the product indicated on the price tag on the counter is automatically increased at the checkout, for example, by 20 percent. In Russia, the price indicated on the price tag on the counter is already the final price. And some countries indicate the price per 1 pound (that is, 450 grams), and in Russia the metric system and the price is always indicated per 1 kg. It is on such small nuances that propaganda is built. It seems like they are telling the truth, but they are not telling the whole story.
Why does every country but the US have such amazing products with true craftsmanship???? America is so generic with all of it's products. I so wish we had people that were creating on a level as the rest of the world. Thank You for sharing.

Any person lives and gets used to his system and when he is told about something and given an example from another system, he, out of ignorance, says - "My God, how do they live there, on such meager salaries!"
As for how much they earn in Russia - it depends on the person, on their desire. Those who want to will earn very well, but the lazy will be bad everywhere. What is your profession?
@Viktor1964p thank you so much for making it clear, I knew it was BS but I just wanted to be able to challenge it with facts from someone in Russia. I appreciate all the information. 👍
@@Viktor1964p Well said, have copied parts for reference.
I suggest you come and draw your own conclusions, rather than focusing on fake videos.
They need this stuff because everything outside moscow is offroad

And you've probably been outside and you know everything.
@@TV-qh7lo Thanks vatnik for your effort. Very much appreciated.
Why does every country but the US have such amazing products with true craftsmanship???? America is so generic with all of it's products. I so wish we had people that were creating on a level as the rest of the world. Thank You for sharing.

Proud price for the plastic VW camper.
Germany - same type - First registration 12/24 - 70 to 75,000 euros

WOW, great video, great store, i see the international ban in Russia has worked well....
😄
Thank you Russell. Do you speak russian?
Are these local companies or a combination of both Russian companies and foreign companies. Hope you had a wonderful festive season 😊
All the shops in the mall are local companies. Most are dealerships for the international brands.
@TravellingwithRussell Alright, it's not locally owned Russian companies that produce products for the Russian market,is that correctly understood?
@tresphore3185 Some of the brands are Russian owned and built, like the caravan. But then you see the VW camper that's fully imported. Along with a lot of the 4x4 bikes, or western brands.
@@TravellingwithRussell oh thanks,so we still have plenty western brands throughout Russia and are performing relatively well under the circumstances.
