Hi Nosipho. Thank you for clarifying most things on respondent. I have a student email but am scared to put it unless I see someone getting paid because he/she used it.
Yes you can put your student email. They won’t send anything except the verification link and you can delete it after.

@@iinhle5532 after pressing verify email and putting your student email, an email will be sent to your student email then you follow the steps...also check in your promotions, spams sometimes emails get lost there.

I have registered with Respondent but struggling to verify both my personal and work e-mail addresses. Every time I try to verify, it says check your e-mails for instructions but when I go to my inboxes, there is no e-mail with instructions.
It comes after days. I did and it said the same thing, probably tried like 6 times, and I got all 6 verification links after some days. Keep checking your emails it will show up eventually

I did add a work email, I got accepted for jobs but I never get that email to say they want to speak to me regarding the study I've applied on 😢. I'm going to have a look at my profile and try again, hopefully this time I get accepted to actually participate in a study n get that money.

I have a question. It is my first time hearing about this website. If you are done with the screening how long does it take for the job to start? For example if I screen for the job today....does it get done immediately or I will have to wait for like 2 days for the job to start. Hope I am making sense
It depends on the client/company. Sometimes it takes a few hrs,a day or even week(s). So everyday screen for different projects, don’t wait for one company to get back to u.

Ohh, you should have said you’re employed part-time.

Really? You should get the verification link immediately. Go under your“account” and re-write the email, make sure the spelling is correct and click verify.

Hi Nosipho, I cannot create an account as a researcher first so I want to delete that researcher account and set participant account so when I try to create a participant account, it takes me straight to create new project, I can't even Finnish my application.
Hey❤️you should not have created an account as a researcher in the first place as that is for ppl who are looking for respondents.
If your email has been captured, the only way to be able to apply correctly as a participant is by using a new email. Alternatively, you can try email the company and request for your details to be deleted, explain your made a mistake and wanted to apply as participant.

Nosipho I haven't received any verification email or an email saying I should verify my work email from respondent. I'm not sure if I mistakenly type a wrong character when providing the work email, hence that resulted in me producing a wrong work email. Which is why I haven't gotten any verification email yet. However, I am still waiting for my profile to become editable once again so that I'll be able to give the accurate work email
Hi Nosipho. Unfortunately Respondent says "this project is not available for people in your geographic region" after verying my email. I can't take screeners as it shows these 2 large bands on top of the page and below and not just 1 project, all of them. Has anyone experienced the same thing, and if they did, were they able to get around it? I'm in South Africa
That’s weird cause respondent works in South Africa.

Hi, I am a Namibian myself, try to connect your bank account to your PayPal account.
I haven't gotten any money through yet to my FNB account however, I did connect.
I believe you can transfer the money to your bank account instead.
I did try. But did you first go to the fnb branch? Because when I try to connect to paypal it says something about visiting a branch
